Genome editing has not only led to breakthrough achievements in medicine, but it has also been involved in the development of agricultural crops. Naturally, not all plants have the same beneficial traits. For instance, plant with high importance potential secondary metabolites cannot generally withstand drought or salty conditions and vice versa.
