Recycling Available At Your Apartment • Look for the recycling carts (tan lids), dumpsters, or chutes Recycling Trash • If you notice service issues, contact the Resource Recovery Division within 24 hours
Tips For Successful Recycling • All materials should be loose; never bagged • Empty and rinse containers; no food or liquids • Flatten boxes to conserve space • Follow the list of Accepted Items; no “wish-cycling” • In your apartment, use a two-bin system: • One bin for trash • One bin for recycling - remember to skip the bag! • If the recycling containers at your apartment are full, place extra materials in a small box by the container • Apartment residents can also use the 24-hour drop-off at Green Guy Recycling (more info on reverse side)
