It makes one of the most fascinating cities in South-East Asia with its imposing colonial and spiritual heritage. The foot of a Buddha statue is curved with traditional symbols as its centrepiece to introduce Myanmar’s unique Buddhist brand in the afternoon, to Chaukhtatgyi , a 70-metre-long leaning buddha. Then visit Kandawgyi Park and the local tea shop, to learn about the fundamental part of the life in Burma: drinking tea! Enjoy a coffee or tea with various snacks while sitting between businesspeople, friends and families who come together to socialize or to do business in a tea shop. Finally, the - the most prestigious Buddhist temple in Myanmar and one of the wonders of the world. It was built 2500 years ago, the locally believed. The central 8-sided stupa is 99 meters tall, gold-plated and 64 smaller stupas are surrounding. Visit the massive resort and discover why this temple is so respected by local people. Then return to the hotel and stay in Yangon overnight. [Local Guide Service in Yangon with English speaking] Hotel breakfast. Transfer to airport and flight to Myeik - a town located near the Andaman Sea in the of Myanmar, the far south of the country. You will be picked up and taken to your hotel upon arrival at Myeik airport. We explore Myeik, one of the biggest fishing towns in Myanmar after having refreshments at our hotel. "Beik," as the locals call it, produces everything needed for the fishing sector. Visit a ship dock yard where wooden boats are still constructed, as in the past. Soft crabs are the main export products from Myeik and you can see how crabs remove their shells from a farm. The dry fish area in Myeik may be not for everyone, but for decades it hasn't changed. You will be taken on a walk and tell what fish were tested for later in the sun. Then go to the typical noodle shop for Myeiks where Kat Kyi Kite is made from all-time favorite dishes. You will then be driven to a birds' net and explain how the production process will be developed and how it will promote good health. Next stop is the perl industry, another local specialty in Myeik. The cultured perl process will be explained to you and the Pearl Trading Shop run by a same family for more than 100 years will be visited. Finally, from Thein Daw Gyi Pagoda we enjoy the sunset before going back to the hotel. Take Myeik overnight. You are picked up at your hotel at 7:30 after early breakfast. It's a speedboat cruise for Dome Island for one-and-a-half hours. Feel the fresh sea brisk as we go through lovely forests of mangroves. Tiny villages are on the shore here and there. There are fish, crabs, moustaches and oysters who live here. Dome Waterfall will be your first stop and cascade down into the ocean from high above. You can climb up and have a cool bath. Please walk carefully on slippery rocks and follow the fishing boat that can refill its supplies of fresh water. Afterwards, you arrived in the village Dome Nyaung Mine. The fishermen share their position in the local language with sea nomads who are called Moken. Their way of life reminds us of a simpler time before bank and life insurance accounts. During the dry season many spend their lives on sea permanently, only seeking shelter when heavy rain falls. In the authentic village [ON OWN ACCOUNT] you can enjoy seafood and vegetarian lunches. Continue to swim and snorkel on smart island in untouched water after lunch. One of its families is the shapes of the island with a long and three small beaches. The beaches are both long and small within 5-10 minutes' walk. Enjoy the afternoon in which you relax, swim, play, sunbathe and go to Myeik with the last rays of sunshine on the sea. Please note: Depending on weather and tide conditions the schedule may change. Participants must provide their personal information. We do not advise participants to participate when they are pregnant or have back problems. Transfer to the airport and return to Yangon after breakfast at hotel. On arrival, take a train trip to the outskirts of the city (20-30minutes drive) to Yangon Railway Station to observe the vitally colourful life and lively rural population of Burma. Disembark to Kyi Myin Daing Market to sell the colourful goods from a variety of street vendors. Before returning to Yangon by road, discover the market and meet local lovers. Then you visit the Bogyoke Aung San Market – Yangon's main bazaar. Its colonial and indoor covered streets, dominated by ancient Burmese craft and jewellery shops, art galleries and apparel stores are well known. (Note: Mondays and public holidays are closed to the market). Transfer for departure to the International Airport. The journey's end.
