ZEE5 Super Family League Rule Book 1. Overview ZEE5 Super Family League is a one-of-its-kind fantasy league Game of skill for TV fiction Shows telecast on ZEE TV and the ZEE5 App. The Game is available in English and Hindi languages on the ZEE5 Mobile App and Website. The Game will be available from 16 November 2020 to 16 January 2021. In a nutshell, please refer to the below steps to understand how the Game works: i. The Game can be accessed on the ZEE5 app on Android and iOS or website www.zee5.com. You will need to be a ZEE5 registered user / use ZEE5 login credentials to play the Game. Guest users will need to register in order to play the Game ii. Create your own Super Family by adding Kirdaars from categories like Bahu-Beti, Saas-Maa, Pati-Premi, Patni-Premika, Dost-Rishtedar, Villan-Vamp from the fiction Shows telecast on ZEE TV / ZEE5 iii. Each Kirdaar will earn Stars based on the Events (as per the Event list defined in Section 3(c) below) they perform during the daily Episodes. Based on your Super Family’s performance, you can also modify your Super Family every day from 00:00:00 hours to 22:59:59 hours. Please note, you must submit your Super Family every day to be able to earn Stars for your Super Family iv. You can also earn Stars by participating in the Shubh Shuruwaat Contest by answering questions that are displayed on TV during the Shows from 7 PM to 11 PM v. You can feature on the Leaderboards and earn rewards associated with the Prize levels (defined in Section 5 below) if your Super Family performs well consistently Participation in the Game, Winner determination and Prize Fulfilment are subject to the Rules and Regulations and FAQs governing the Game. 2. Definitions i. “Booster(s)” means the power up(s) that temporarily multiplies the number of Stars earned by a Kirdaar to increase the number of Points / Stars they are eligible to earn for that day ii. “Category” means the different groups in which the Kirdaars have been divided based on their role in the “Show” like Maa-Saas, Bahu-Beti, Pati-Premi, Patni-Premika, Dost-Rishtedar, Villan-Vamp iii. “Company” or “ZEE5” or “ZEEL” means ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited iv. “Coupons” are vouchers / offers that the Participant can win once they reach the Prize level(s) v. “Currency” or “Hearts” refers to the virtual system of trade used to purchase individual Kirdaars and Boosters in the Game vi. “Device(s)” refers to any mobile phones and / or tablets running the Android/iOS operating platforms, capable of receiving and transmitting data including via Internet and/or mobile communications technology and/or any other similar technology vii. “Events” refers to an Event performed by Kirdaars during the Episode. These Events carry a certain number of Stars which the Kirdaar earns by performing them viii. “Episode” is a video / telecast of a Show on a given Game Day ix. “Game” refers to “ZEE5 Super Family League” available on the ZEE5 App which may be played by the Participants on the Device(s) in accordance with the Rules and Regulations available on http://superfamily.zee5.com/terms and the Rules forming a part of in this document x. “Game Day” refers to the time between 00:00:00 hours and 22:59:59 hours on each day from Monday to Saturday where the Participant can submit his / her Super Family, answer Trivia questions and score Stars as per the Rule Book xi. “Gratification” means a reward that the Participant can earn when their Super Family reaches the required number of Stars for each Prize Level xii. “Kirdaars” means the characters or Kirdaars that appear on the Show(s) (as per the detailed Show list defined in section 3(b) below) during the daily Episodes xiii. “Last Game Leaderboard” or “Daily Leaderboard” is a dashboard which will contain details of Stars earned by all the Participants who have played the Game the day before xiv. “Overall Leaderboard” is a dashboard which will contain details of cumulative Stars earned across all the Game Day(s) played by the Participant xv. “Participant” means any person(s) playing the Game on the ZEE5 App / ZEE5 website / direct weblink / microsite link shared on social media pages in the form of a deeplink and who (i) residing in India (ii) above the age of Eighteen (18) years (iii) is of sound mind and health and (iv) agrees to enter into and participate in the Game in accordance with the Rules and Regulations available on http://superfamily.zee5.com/terms xvi. “Personality Dimension(s)” refers to a set of traits or Events categorized under different groups that are performed by the Kirdaars and have been shown to have a connect with viewers of ZEE TV xvii. “Prizes” shall mean all Level Prize(s) and Grand Prize, any other Prize(s) or offers or Coupons that a Winner may be eligible to receive, as may be determined and announced by the Company in terms of these Rules and Regulations xviii. “Prize Level” refers to the different levels categorized to be eligible for different types of Prizes and the Stars that a Participant must score to qualify for each level xix. “Registered User(s)” means a person who registers on the ZEE5 App through an e-mail ID or Mobile number to access and / or play the Game xx. “Rule Book” refers to the document containing all the information and the details the Participant needs to follow in order to play the Game xxi. “Rules and Regulations” means these Rules and Regulations governing the Game, as stated herein in entirety and as may be amended by the Company from time to time xxii. “Scene” refers to the fixed location where the Kirdaars in the Show are performing. A Scene change occurs when there is a sudden change in location on camera. Switching view to different rooms inside the same house/building also counts as a Scene change. xxiii. “Show” mean the programs that are telecasted on the ZEE TV / ZEE5 from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM xxiv. “Shubh Shuruwaat Contest” shall mean a competition conducted by ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) that shall comprise of a quiz of which the questions will be telecasted on the Channel and the answers is to be submitted on the ZEE5 app/website or by giving a missed call xxv. “Star(s)” means the points earned by each of the Kirdaars by performing the Events during the daily Episodes as per the Events List. The Participant can also earn Stars by answering trivia questions during the Shubh Shuruwaat Contest xxvi. “Stipulated Time” means the time available to the Participant to answer the trivia questions forming part of Shubh Shuruwaat Contest xxvii. “Super Family” means the Kirdaars selected by the Participant, one from each Category Each Participant can only play with one - Super Family in each Game xxviii. “Trivia Questions” are objective questions forming part of Shubh Shuruwaat Contest which comprise of 4 ‘simple multiple-choice questions’ along with 2 answer options which test the Participant’s knowledge about the Show(s) telecasted on ZEE TV xxix. “Winner(s)” shall mean all Daily Winner(s), Level Winner(s), Overall Winner(s) or any other Winner(s) as may be determined and announced by the Company in terms of the Rules and Regulations xxx. “Weekly Leaderboard” is a dashboard which will contain details of cumulative Stars earned across the Game Day(s) played by the Participant during the week 3. How to Play a. Create a Super Family i. The Super Family created by you should consist of six (6) Kirdaars from 6 categories selected from the list of Shows and Kirdaars in section 3(b) of this document ii. Your Super Family can consist of different combinations of Kirdaars; however, you can choose a maximum of two (2) Kirdaars per Show iii. The Hearts required to buy the Kirdaar of your choice will be detailed in the “Kirdaar” section of the Game and the total cost of your Super Family is limited to the number of Hearts present in your account iv. You can buy Boosters using the Hearts available in your ZEE5 Super Family League account to the Kirdaars in your Super Family in order to increase the number of Stars earned by your Super Family v. By submitting your Super Family and participating in the Game, you agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations detailed in http://superfamily.zee5.com/terms . Please note, all adult Participants residing in India are eligible to win Prizes. vi. In case the Participant is below the age of 18 years, the Parent and / or Guardian of the Participant consent to his/her participation in the Game and agree with the Rules and Regulations of the Game and undertake to abide by all the Rules contained herein. Such Participants will not be eligible to claim the Prizes.

The Company reserves the right to modify, add, delete or change the above Shows and the timings of the Shows at its own discretion. iii. The Kirdaars are categorised under 6 categories. c. Events i. Kirdaars are awarded Stars based on the Events they perform in each Episode. Events are categorized into the following groups: 1. Personality Dimension – The Events in this Category are based on the traits that the Kirdaars perform during the various Scenes in the Episode. The Kirdaar can earn between 25 to 100 Stars for each Event under this Category 2. General Dimension – These are generic Events that the Kirdaars perform in each Scene. Each Kirdaar can earn 10 Stars for each Event under this Category 3. Bumper Dimension – These are special Events that occur from time to time. The Kirdaar can earn up to 150 Stars for each Events under this Category ii. The Company reserves the right to add, amend and/or modify the Kirdaars, Shows, number of Event categories, list of Events under each Category and the Stars associated with each Event. Please refer to the active Game interface for the updated list of Events. iii. Refer to the below table for a detailed list of Events. 3. Bumper

Category Events Stars Bumper Birthday 150 Marriage 150 Marriage anniversary 150 iv. A Kirdaar can earn Stars for the same Event in the same Episode for a maximum of 5 times v. Stars will be awarded for an Event only once per Scene except for when the entire Episode is a single Scene. In such instances, the Kirdaar will be awarded Stars for multiple occurrences of the same Event vi. Events in the Romance, Emotion, Strength, Glamour, Intelligence, General, Bumper dimensions are applicable for all Kirdaar categories. However, Events under the Negative dimension are applicable only for Kirdaars in the Villain/Vamp categories vii. Events in the Romance, Emotion, Strength, Glamour, Intelligence, General, Negative dimensions will qualify for Stars if they happen during the Episode as a part of a normal Scene, in a Flash-back Scene, or in a dream sequence. Stars will not be awarded in cases where the Events are happening within a video being viewed by Kirdaars on TV or Mobile viii. However, Events in the Bumper dimension will qualify for Stars only if they happen during the Episode and not in cases of Flash-back Scenes, dream sequences or any other situations during the Episode ix. The points will not be applicable for Episode recaps x. For the recurring Events (Events occurring across multiple Episodes) categorised under Romance, Emotion, Strength, Glamour, Intelligence, General, Negative dimensions, the Kirdaars will be awarded Stars for each Episode. However, for the Events categorised under the Bumper Category, the Kirdaars will be awarded Stars for the first Episode only xi. The Company reserves the right to modify, add, delete or change the Events and the Stars associated with the Events. The Company will be the sole decision-maker of any matter of interpretation and the frequency of occurrence of the Events that appear during the Episodes. d. Rules i. Only ZEE5 Registered Users can participate in the ZEE5 Super Family League ii. You do not need to subscribe to participate in the Game however ZEE5 Club subscribers will have access to the Episodes before the same are telecast on TV iii. You will be credited with certain number of Hearts as soon as you arrive on the Game platform. You will also be credited with Bonus Hearts from time to time. Refer table in section 4(a) for details of the Bonus Hearts that you can earn iv. To create your Super Family, you need to select one Kirdaar per Category (as per the list of categories and Kirdaars in section 3(b) subject to a maximum of two Kirdaars per Show v. The information related to the Kirdaar including Hearts required to buy the Kirdaar, performance statistics like Ranks, Average daily Stars, Average Weekly Stars will be detailed in the Kirdaar Card as shown below:

vi. The cost of each Kirdaar in your Super Family will be deducted from the overall Hearts balance linked to your registered ID vii. You can earn more Hearts by performing Events detailed in the table below:

Scores below 250 Stars on two consecutive days 50 Once per lifetime viii. If you have submitted your Super Family before 11:59:59 hours, you will be eligible to earn 50 bonus Hearts only. You will not be eligible to earn 25 Hearts for submitting the Super Family between 12:00:00 and 17:59:59 hours. The Hearts will be credited at the end of the Game Day or within reasonable time at the Company’s discretion. ix. You must submit your Super Family on a daily basis to be able to earn Stars, cross the Prize Levels and be eligible for the Prizes x. You have an option to modify your Super Family only twice during the Game Day (00:00:00 hours to 22:59:59 hours). The last submitted Super Family will be considered for scoring xi. The total Stars earned by your Super Family will be updated after each Game Day and you can access these Points from the Parivaar Performance section in your menu xii. The cost of each Kirdaar will change based on the Kirdaar’s performance in the previous Episodes xiii. The Company will be the sole decision-maker of any matter with regards to the interpretation of the Game Rules and any aspect of the content of, or playing of, the Game. The Company will not enter into correspondence relating to such matters and its decision as to any matter arising out of or in connection with the Game Rules including but not limited to the allocation of Stars to any Participant and/or the award of any Prize and/or any ranking or leader board shall be final and conclusive. xiv. The Company reserves the right at any time to temporarily or permanently modify or discontinue the Game with or without prior notice (due to reasons outside its reasonable control). If the Company permanently discontinues the Game pursuant to this paragraph, you shall be released from your obligations to ZEE5 Super Family League under these Rules and Regulations https://superfamily.ZEE5.com/terms e. Trivia i. You can also earn additional Stars by answering questions for the Shubh Shuruwaat Contest ii. The questions will appear on ZEE TV and the answer options for those questions shall appear on ZEE5 app iii. Each question will have 2 answer options and the Stars associated with each answer option will appear on the Participant’s screen. The Participant will be required to answer the questions within the Stipulated Time of 60 minutes iv. Only those options/answers which are received within the Stipulated Time, will be considered valid. The Company may increase and/or reduce the Stipulated Time to answer each question at its sole discretion and the decision of the Company in this regard, will be final and binding on the Participant(s).In the event the Participant’s responses to any of the questions during the Contest is not received within the Stipulated Time, due to any unforeseen reasons or errors including but not limited to technical or network errors or glitches, the question will be considered unanswered and the Participant will not be allotted any Stars for answering the question, notwithstanding the fact that the Participant may have correctly answered the question through the Device within the Timer on the screen of the Device 4. Currency and Points a. Hearts i. Currency is the virtual system of trade which will be used to purchase Kirdaars and will be denoted by “Hearts” during the Game ii. A Participant will be credited with a certain number of Hearts on accessing the Game for the first time iii. You can perform the following tasks to earn additional Hearts:

iv. If you have submitted your Super Family before 11:59:59 hours, you will be eligible to earn 100 bonus Hearts only. You will not be eligible to earn 50 Hearts for submitting the Super Family between 12:00:00 and 17:59:59 hours. The Hearts will be credited at the end of the Game Day or within reasonable time at the Company’s discretion v. You may be awarded with additional Hearts on advancing to higher levels in the Game vi. The Company may choose to credit bonus Hearts to the Participants from time to time at its discretion. The Company reserves the right to amend the above list of tasks, the number of Hearts and the restrictions associated with each task b. Boosters i. Boosters are temporary multipliers that allows a Participant to increase the number of Stars earned by a Kirdaar for that day ii. All Boosters are valid for one Game Day only iii. Refer to the below table for a detailed list of Boosters:

The Company reserves the right to modify the type of Boosters, Hearts required to purchase the Boosters, the multipliers and the validity of the Boosters. The Company will not entertain any queries, clarifications or complaints in this regard. c. Stars i. The points earned by the Kirdaars in the Participant’s Super Family will be denoted by Stars ii. The Participants will be eligible to win the Prizes based on the total number of Stars earned by him/her iii. Please refer to the details in Section 3(c) for details of the Events and Stars associated with each Event iv. The Company reserves the right to amend the Stars associated with the Events and will not entertain any queries, clarifications or complaints in this regard 5. Prizes and Prize fulfilment i. The Prize structure for ZEE5 Super Family League is as follows:

The Company reserves the right to add, amend and/or modify the above Prize structure, Prizes, number of Participants eligible to win these Prizes and the number of Stars associated with each Prize Level from time to time at its discretion. iii. A Participant will be eligible to win a Prize associated with each Level only once during the Game iv. In case of a tie for the daily and Level Winners, the Participant to submit his Super Family earlier on that Game Day will be eligible to claim the Prize v. Winner determination and Prize Fulfilment are subject to successful validation of the Participant’s scores and KYC verification vi. The Company reserves the right at its discretion to forfeit a Prize Winner’s eligibility to win Prizes and proceed with the next eligible Winner in the following indicative scenarios: 1. Not meeting the criteria set out for eligible Participants; 2. Failure to provide any documentation, proof or requested information, within the defined timelines 3. Any false/incorrect/misleading information provided by the Participant; 4. Any discrepancy is identified on review including but not limited to PAN not belonging to said Participant 5. Failure to successfully contact the said Participant on the furnished contact details as per defined process 6. Non-compliance with TAX (direct and indirect) compliances required to claim the Prize 7. Failure to collect / claim the Prizes as per defined process and any other event not listed above 8. Any Participant who breaches or is suspected to be in breach of the Rules and Regulations or any applicable law or if he/she is found to be misusing the ZEE5 App or is engaged in illegal or fraudulent use of Game or the App in any manner vii. The Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No alternatives will be offered for any of the Prizes viii. The Winner for the above Prizes will be determined by the Company based on the Stars or Points calculated at the ZEE5 or it’s vendor’s servers. The Company will not entertain any queries, clarifications, or complaints in this regard ix. The Participants will not be eligible to question or audit the score computation or the methodology of selecting the Winners under any circumstances x. Participants will be notified of their eligibility to win the Prizes by means of emails or calls on their mobile number provided during registration on ZEE5. The Prize fulfilment process will be completed from 60 days of the end of the ZEE5 Super Family League There may be a separate Gratification for the Trivia round as a part of the Shubh Shuruwaat Contest. Please refer to the Rules and Regulations on http://superfamily.zee5.com/terms for the details governing this Contest 6. Other important rules i. The following Leaderboards (as defined in Section 2) are available in the Game. 1. Daily Leaderboard 2. Weekly Leaderboard 3. Overall Leaderboard 4. Level wise Leaderboard A mere inclusion in the Leaderboard does not necessarily qualify the Participant to win the Prize. A Leaderboard is purely for representation purposes only. The Company also reserves the right to suspend all leader boards at its sole discretion. ii. The Game is meant for entertainment and recreational purposes only, and is not a contest, bet, award or challenge or other form of formal event. iii. The Game will be available only when the Shows are viewed on the ZEE5 Application or on ZEE TV. The Company will not be responsible for any break or disconnection or disruption in network connectivity in any manner, irrespective of the network being used. Network issues can disrupt various aspects of the Game Play such as Super Family submission, addition of Boosters, Hearts and Stars computation, receipt of questions and answer options, receipt of any sound, text, video streams related to the Game, receipt by the Company of answer chosen by the Participant, etc. The Participant is advised to remain in an area with a strong and stable/ continuous mobile network signal of the telecom operator or internet service provider to ensure smooth functioning of the Game. iv. Any loss or outrage or dissatisfaction event suffered during the course of playing the Game Play by a Participant would not be the responsibility of the Company and/or its associates/ affiliates and the Company or its associates/affiliates will not be responsible to make good any such loss or dissatisfaction event. v. In the event the response of the Participant is not received by the Company within the Stipulated Time period for the question or is unable to submit a Super Family for any reason, the Participant would not get Stars if question(s) was answered correctly or the Super Family was submitted or modified by him/her. The Participant can continue to answer questions once re-connected to the central Game server(s). Company or its vendors and partners are not responsible for any such instances. vi. Other than the Devices (defined in Section 2), the Game Play will be accessible through web browsers, and any third-party live TV streaming medium or any other operating systems/platforms on which the ZEE5 App is available.

Name of Event Description ROMANCE Go on a date - A date is defined as a romantic meeting between two Kirdaars outside of their respective houses - This includes married and unmarried Kirdaars - If two Kirdaars are together outside of their houses at a fixed location e.g. restaurant, garden, cafe, this qualifies for the Event - This Event will qualify only if the two Kirdaars are in a romantic relationship (irrespective of which categories they belong to) - Both Kirdaars (if both are a part of the Kirdaar list) will be given Stars for this Event Please note travelling to the location of the date will not qualify for this Event Couple Dance - Two Kirdaars, who are romantically involved with each other in the Show, (irrespective of which categories they belong to) should be dancing with each other in the Scene for this Event to qualify - Background music is not necessary for the Event to qualify - The Event will be qualified if Kirdaars from the parent serial are dancing as a couple during a Maha Episode - Both Kirdaars (if both are a part of the Kirdaar list) will be given Stars for this Event Intimate Romance - This Event is valid if two Kirdaars are involved in a physically intimate Scene with one another - Both Kirdaars will earn Stars for this Event Shaadi ka proposal - This Event is valid when the Scene includes an actual proposal for marriage - Either Kirdaars of a couple or other Super Family members could be proposing in the Scene - Kirdaars involved in making and receiving the proposal earn Stars for this Event Pyaar Ka Izhaar - The act of one Kirdaar expressing love to another Kirdaar verbally will qualify for this Event - Only the Kirdaar who is expressing love will earn Stars for this Event - If both the Kirdaars are expressing love to each other, both of them will earn Stars for this Event - This Event will qualify only if the Kirdaars are romantically involved - Events that involve Kirdaars who are not romantically involved will not qualify e.g. a son expressing love for his mother, brother expressing love for his sister Romantic Kiss - The act of a kiss between two romantically involved Kirdaars will qualify for this Event - An act of recording videos or audio recordings without the intention of gathering evidence will not qualify for this Event - The act of questioning other characters in order to gain information / collect evidence will also qualify under this Event - The Kirdaar trying to gather evidence will earn Stars for this Event Look badalkar sach - A Scene in which a Kirdaar has disguised himself / herself for a righteous cause ko saamne lana like uncovering the truth or rescuing someone who has been held captive will qualify for this Event - Kirdaars disguised for any other reasons like playing a prank, disguising for a performance, etc. will not qualify for this Event - The Kirdaar who has disguised himself / herself will earn Stars for this Event Professional work - A Scene in which the Kirdaar is shown doing the work as per their designated profession which is his / her source of income will qualify for this Event - The location of work (office / home) is irrelevant for the Event - A mere mention that the Kirdaar is travelling to work or talking about work does not qualify for this Event - Only the Kirdaar performing a task related to his / her profession will earn Stars for this Event Padhna - A Scene in which the Kirdaars are studying (irrespective of the location of study) will qualify for this Event - The Scene could include self-study / group study - Online researching on the internet, studying from books, etc. will also qualify for the Event - The Kirdaars studying in the Scene will earn Stars for this Event EMOTION Joke aur mazaak - A Scene in which a Kirdaar has cracked a funny joke which makes the other karna Kirdaars in the Scene laugh will qualify for this Event - This Event will not qualify in case of sarcastic comments - The Kirdaars who has cracked the joke will earn Stars Laughing - A Scene in which a Kirdaar is laughing out loud (including giggling or laughing with a negative intention) will qualify for the Event - The Kirdaars who are laughing will earn Stars for this Event Exhibiting sorrow - A Scene which displays an act of tearful crying will qualify for this Event - The Kirdaars who are crying will earn Stars for this Event Friendly hug - Episodes involving a continuous birthday celebration will not qualify for the Event - Showing of pictures / videos / short clips of the birthday party etc. will not qualify under this Event Marriage - A Scene in which two Kirdaars are getting married in an official marriage ceremony (including a marriage in a religious setting / court marriage) will qualify for this Event - Only the Kirdaars who are getting married will earn Stars for the Event - The Stars will be given to the Kirdaars for the first Episode only.
