CARONE Carone also served as the pitching coach for the Concord Quary Dogs in the Head Coach - Second Season prestigious New England Collegiate Baseball League during the summer of Monmouth (2003) - 27-47 (17-19 NEC) 2006. While with the Quary Dogs, he mentored 2007 BIG EAST Pitcher of the Year and 2008 St. Louis Cardinals draft pick Zack Pitts.

After graduating from Monmouth, Carone began his coaching career at then Jim Carone is in his second year as the 13th head baseball coach at Wagner Division II NJIT in 2004 before moving on to Stevens Institute of Technology College in 2013.
