GTT provides a free app for smartphones: “GTT Mobile”, available from the Google Play store and the Apple iTunes store. How to reach Turin By plane (Turin Airport): The Turin Caselle “Sandro Pertini” International Airport (TNR) connects passenger travelling to and from Turin with several domestic and international destinations. It is situated 16 kilometers (10 miles) from the city center and may be reached by car and public transport. Some information follows below. Taxi: The public taxi rank is located on the left of the exit on the Arrivals level of Turin Airport. The taxi fare to Turin downtown is about 40/45 € and the travel time is approximately 30 minutes (accord longer times at peak hours). Shuttle buses (by Sadem) are available from the airport to the city center every day. Passengers may board at the Domestic arrivals, on the ground floor level of the airport and go to the Porta Nuova main railway station at the corner between via Sacchi n. 8 and via Assietta. Tickets may be purchased at the newsstand in the departure lounge, or from the tourist bureau, ticket office, ticket machine on the arrivals level. The one-way fare is € 6,50. The journey lasts 45/50 minutes. Buses run every 30/35 minutes, depending on time of day. The airport railway station is located a few metres from the air-terminal. Train departures are every 30 minutes: from 5.03 am to 23.08 pm to the airport and from 5.04 am to 21.03 pm to Turin. The train ride takes 19 minutes. Ticket are sold at the ticket office (Ricevitoria) in the Arrival lounge, the fare is “biglietto integrato B” at € 3,00. It is situated situated 140km (87 miles) from Turin. Shuttle buses (by Sadem) are available from the Milano Malpensa Airport with Turin. There are about 10 daily runs. The trip lasts for about 2 hours. The city bus terminal is in C.so Vittorio Emanuele 131/H. The bus also stops at the Torino Porta Susa railway station and at corso G. Cesare/p.le Autostrada. Tickets can be bought at the bus station counter, or in the bars nearest to the bus terminal or directly on the bus.. By train (from Milan): The railway company “Trenitalia” offers daily connections from Milano Central Station to Torino Porta Nuova Station: “FrecciaRossa” are trains that run through the high-speed line with fast and frequent connections; “Frecciargento” trains run both the high-speed and traditional lines. Travel time is approximately 60 minutes. For more information go to: http://www.trenitalia.com The railway company “NTV–Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori” offers daily connection from Milano Porta Garibaldi Station to Torino Porta Susa Station: “Italo” is an ultra- modern train for a comfortable and safe high-peed travel. Travel time is approximately 60 minutes. For more information go to: http://www.italotreno.it Taxi: Porta Nuova Station – The public taxi rank is located in Via Sacchi, travel time to reach the Authority is approximately 10 minutes. Porta Susa Station - The public taxi rank is located in Piazza XVIII Dicembre, travel time to reach the Authority is approximately 15 minutes. To call a taxi: +39.011.5737 (“Pronto Taxi”) or +39.011.5730 (“Radio Taxi”) Metro: An easy way to get to the seat of the Authority from Porta Nuova and Porta Susa Stations is by metro, way to “Lingotto”. The last station “Lingotto” is the closest stop, five minute walk. Fare is € 1,50. By car: Turin is linked with the main European cities, by a communication network expanded around all the Piedmont region, with Turin as the region capital. The main access roads in the city are distributed in all the cardinal points. If arriving from Milan, take the Toll Highway Torino-Milano A4 – Orbital road (“Tangenziale di Torino”), exit “Corso Unità d’Italia” and then follow the directions to “Lingotto”. The travel time is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
