Railway Line Trekking and Nature Sightseeing

Tanjong Pagar Railway Station was a railway terminus owned by Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM), the main railway operator in . Following an agreement between the governments of Malaysia and , railway operations at the station permanently ceased from 1 July 2011. From July 1 to 17, the public may still access and trek along the entire railway line, except for a few spots where minor works are being carried out. After July, works to remove the railway tracks will commence.

To experience this historical site and network with each other, IEEE SG WIE AG and I2R Social Committee warmly invite you to join us in trekking the 3km railway stretch between Railway Station and the Rail Mall Railway Station in Upper . Please refer to the map for more information on this trail (source: The Green Corridor).
