We are delighted to have you join us at The Palace during our 2018-2019 season! This winter we’re pleased to bring you some exciting entertainment!

Arts and Culture make good cities great and we are proud to have a facility like The Palace to present premier entertainment so close to home. While most people know The Palace for our outstanding shows, they may not know that The Palace is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization and we need your assistance to realize our mission.

Become a member and support the arts! Your donation is 100% tax deductible. Memberships come with valuable benefits such as access to ticket presales, priority seating, and a concierge phone line, as well as invitations to exclusive and exciting member receptions.

We’d like to extend our gratitude to our season sponsors: Co-Communications, SL Green, the Whittingham Family, and Harman—the “official sound of The Palace Theatre.” Our sponsors are the backbone of our theatre. Without their financial commitment and partnership we would not have the ability to bring sensational comedians, musicians, and children’s entertainment to our backyard that makes The Palace so unique. We greatly appreciate the continued support from these wonderful sponsors.

This winter we have a jam packed schedule with entertainment for everyone. From music, comedy and family entertainment, we’ve got everything covered.

The legendary Doobie Brothers bring their iconic music to The Palace on November 13th while upcoming country artists Walker McGuire continue our Music City Sessions series on November 8th. Laugh out loud with comedian Tim Allen on November 15th and Laughtrax series veterans Chicago City Limits on December 6th.

Celebrate the holidays at The Palace with shows like Charlie Brown Christmas on November 24th, The Vienna Boys Choir on December 4th. Americas contestants Sons of Serendip return to the stage on December 9th and A Magical Cirque Christmas debuts their jaw dropping holiday show on December 22nd.

Visit www.palacestamford.org for more information. Create your online account to join our mailing list and connect with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Be the first to know about upcoming shows and special offers during our new season!

THE PALACE Theatre for the Performing Arts 7 Show Information

Music City Session: Dylan Schneider Thursday, Nov. 1 | 8:00pm

You almost never see an artist do this much this quick, especially in country music. Dylan Schneider is wise beyond his years, especially when it comes to his songwriting. But perhaps even more impressive is Schneider’s ability and willingness to connect with fans on a personal level. “I used to freak out if an artist would respond or interact with me. It’s incredibly important to me that I do the same with my fans.” That love for fans has helped grow Schneider a collective social following of over 1,000,000. Named “country music’s next rising star” by Billboard, the 18-year-old has spent the better part of the last two years becoming the epitome of the modern country artist.

Music City Session: Austin Burke Wednesday, Nov. 7 | 8:00pm

The song “Whole Lot in Love” catapulted Austin to Spotify stardom. The track currently boasts nearly 43 million streams and has earned Austin the reputation of being one of the platform’s most successful independent country artists. Both of Austin’s songs have also been prominently featured on Sirius XM’s The Highway.

Walker McGuire Thursday, Nov. 8 | 8:00pm

There are brothers in blood, and then there are brothers in spirit. Jordan Walker and Johnny McGuire may not look like family or share a last name, but you wouldn’t know it by hearing them sing. After meeting onstage at a writers round just days after moving to Nashville, Jordan—the “super country” guy, raised in Texas with a love for classics like Keith Whitley and Dan Seals—and Johnny— the quintessential “rootsy” guy, a Kansas City native schooled by left-of-center icons like Tom Petty and John Prine—discovered a yin-and-yang musical connection that fit together like puzzle pieces—and the duo Walker McGuire was born.

Peppa Pig Live! Friday, Nov. 9 | 2:00pm and 6:00pm

Peppa Pig comes to Stamford for two shows on Friday, November 9 at 2:00pm & 6:00pm! Don't miss this action- packed live show featuring kids’ favorite characters as life-size puppets and costume characters in “Peppa Pig’s Surprise.” Come join Peppa, George, Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig and more in an all singing, all-dancing adventure full of songs, games and surprises!

Few actors have reached Allen’s level of success in film and television. Best known for his iconic roles in “Toy Story,” “Santa Clause,” “Wild Hogs” and many more; he has reached an international level of super stardom.

He honed his talents as a stand-up comic throughout the 1980s, providing the perfect lead-in to his highly successful ABC TV series “Home Improvement” where he garnered a Golden Globe Award, an Emmy nomination, and was honored with the People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Male Performer in a Television Series” for an unprecedented eight years in a row. Chicago City Limits Thursday, Dec. 6 | 8:00pm

Imagine walking out onto a blank stage. There is no script, no set, no preconceived ideas. Suddenly the stage lights flash and the show starts. Some call this the Actor’s nightmare, others call it Improvisational Theatre.

This show is a creation of the collective lunatic unconscious of both actors and audience. They’ve done their part; they haven’t prepared a thing. It's now time for you to do your part. Just sit back, relax and get ready to call out whatever is on your mind...a word...a phrase...an idea. Audience, start your engines!

Sons of Serendip Sunday, Dec. 9 | 7:00pm

Sons of Serendip is a musical group of four friends, who through a series of serendipitous events, came together in graduate school at University. They have each been playing their instruments since childhood, but in 2014, they came together to begin what they know will be a long beautiful journey of creating music that touches people’s hearts. They hope that their music will resonate deeply with listeners and that, in some way, it will make their lives a little better—even if just for a moment.

MAIN STREET. PRESCHOOL. THE PLAYGROUND. The environment isn’t just some far off place. It’s the lawn beneath our feet, the food on our plate, and the air we breathe. And it’s why the Natural Resources Defense Council is working to protect the most important places on Earth. Whether it’s the rainforest, the arctic, or your living room. To learn more, go to NRDC.org. And help protect the jungle creatures in your backyard.

Because the environment is everywhere.
