GLOBAL MARKETS * US : Most benchmark US indices extended their gains on Friday, with the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average indices closing at record highs. A better-than-expected US jobs data for July lifted investor sentiment. * Asia : Asian markets were largely mixed today with South Korea's Kospi falling for the third session as the country extended COVID-19 restrictions to curb the spread of Delta variant, which weighed on investor sentiment.

DOMESTIC OUTLOOK * Domestic equity indices are bound for a flat start as positive cues from strong employment data in the US were offset by concerns over the spread of the coronavirus Delta variant in Asian countries.
