WKBN personnel were able to meet students and discuss vacancies at the Station and in the broadcasting industry. 3 3/21/2019 Participation in WKBN actively participates and takes 7 Promotions Director scholarship programs an administrative role in the Caring for Art Director Our Community Tom Holden Memorial Anchor Scholarship. This year's recipient was Anchor from the Trumbull Career & Technical Center. 4 3/29/2019 Establishment of an WKBN-TV has an established 2 Managing Editor intern program designed internship program that allows students Meteorologist to assist members of the to gain practical experience in all areas community of our operations, including news, production, sports and weather.

WKBN-TV hosted (4) interns, from the Kent State University and Ohio State University, during the 2018 Summer Semester; (2) interns, from the Youngstown State University, during the 2018 Fall Semester and (2) interns, from the Youngstown State University and Slippery Rock University, during the 2019 Spring Semester.
