The Markle Foundation In-house Contract Drupal Developer 2014 - 2018 I was initially engaged by Markle to resolve some website performance issues. The engagement was extended as I led their migration from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7 and was the lead technical resource for all their web properties. • Performed full stack web development for all Markle websites including markle.org, skillful.com and other temporary websites. Sites were built in Drupal 7 and Drupal 8. • Rearchitected and converted markle.org from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7. • Migrated site to Pantheon’s Drupal cloud hosting service to improve performance and site reliability while reducing costs. • Served as liaison between Markle and their design partner. • Prepared periodic analytics and performance reports for C-level executives and made recommendations to improve the reach of Markle web properties. • Assisted Markle’s communications team in developing and realizing a new content strategy to effectively communicate Markle’s mission, programs and impact. • Implemented SOLR Search allowing for faster and more flexible searching • Performed periodic security updates and maintenance tasks
