FI 1-15 January 20, 2015 Flexitank Disposable Bulk Packaging System for Non- An impact test was conducted to evaluate the performance of a Hazardous Liquid in a 20’ – disposable bulk packaging system for shipment of non- Trust Flexitanks SL hazardous liquid in 20’ . The Trust Flexitank SL, flexitank system has a maximum capacity of 6,340 US gallons (24,000 liters) and consists of a single layer of low density polyethylene. The flexitank was fitted into a standard 20’ container and secured with a 5 piece steel bulkhead system inserted into the container door recess channel directly inside the doors. The Trust Flexi flexitank system performed as intended and met current COA requirements.

FI 2-15 January 28, 2015 Flexitank Disposable Bulk Packaging System for Non- An impact test was conducted to evaluate the performance of a Hazardous Liquid in a 20’ Container – disposable bulk packaging system for shipment of non- Rishi FIBC Solutions, PVT LTD hazardous liquid in 20’ containers. The Rishi FIBC Solutions flexitank system has a maximum capacity of 6,340 US gallons (24,000 liters) and consists of four layers of low density polyethylene plus an outer layer of woven polypropylene. The flexitank was fitted into a standard 20’ container and secured with a 6 piece steel bulkhead system inserted into the container door recess channel directly inside the doors. The Rishi FIBC Solutions flexitank system met COA requirements, but failed to meet AAR requirements due to side seam failure.

The palletized case goods were loaded in an intermodal trailer according to Method F-2 of the AAR Intermodal Loading Guide. The load was secured with two 48 in. high x 96 in. long x 22 in. wide level 1 air bags. The load successfully completed impact testing.

FI 16-15 July 30, 2015 Disposable Inflatable Dunnage Bags Used to Control An impact test was conducted to evaluate the performance of Lengthwise Movement of Cased Goods in TOFC – two level 1 polyethylene/polypropylene pneumatic dunnage CargoTuff bags in a trailer load of palletized case goods. The palletized case goods were loaded in an intermodal trailer according to Method F-2 of the AAR Intermodal Loading Guide. FI 18-15 October 14, 2015 Palletized Canned and Cased Goods Secured by Air Bags Two impact tests were conducted to evaluate the securement in Cushioned Boxcars – NS/Red Gold Inc. of palletized canned and cased goods in cushioned boxcars. Two cars were loaded with a mix of product and secured with air bags and panels. Differences in the types of products loaded made securing problematic and caused damage where different types of products made contact or reacted differently.

The flexitank was fitted into a standard 20’ container and secured with a six piece steel bulkhead system inserted into the container door recess channel directly inside the doors. The Hinrich Industries flexitank system performed as intended and met current AAR and COA requirements.

The SIA Flexitank LTD flexitank system has a maximum capacity of 6,340 US gallons (24,000 liters) and consists of a triple layer of low density polyethylene plus an outer layer of woven polypropylene. The flexitank was fitted into a standard 20’ container and secured with a six piece steel bulkhead system inserted into the container door recess channel directly inside the doors. The SIA Flexitank LTD flexitank system performed as intended and met current AAR and COA requirements.
