ET Campus Stars (ETCS) is an initiative of and the sole property of Digital, Limited. ETCS is supported by partners as published on www.etcampusstars.com (“Site”). These ETCS Program details are in addition to Site’s Terms of Use

1. DEFINITIONS a. “Program” means ETCS, an initiative by The Economic Times Digital, Times Internet Ltd. (TIL). b. “Participant” shall mean the user, who is eligible and chooses to participate in the Program. c. “Evaluation Panel” means the panel of jury appointed by TIL (Times Internet Limited) in its sole discretion, who shall have final authority to evaluate and/or assess the submissions/entries made under the Program. The decision of Evaluation Panel shall be final and binding on the Participant. d. “Listed Participants” shall mean the Participants who are declared to have made it to the list of brightest engineers by TIL as per the terms listed below.

2. ELIGIBILITY a. This Program is valid for users who are Indian citizens entitled to enter into any contract and are aged 18 years and above. b. Participants are required to be third or final year full-time engineering undergraduate student studying in any AICTE approved engineering college as part of the four-year degree program in . c. Participants are required to register with ETCS for the Program in the format prescribed. The last date for taking the online test for Phase 1 is on or before 26 October 2018 23:59:59. d. For taking the online test in Phase 1, the ETCS Site will redirect participants to the assessment partner Aspiring Minds’ portal. e. Participants who pass each phase shall be contacted by TIL along with necessary details and requirements of the next phase. f. The following persons cannot participate in Program i. An employee of Times Internet Limited or group companies as part of ii. A family member of employee of Aspiring Minds iii. A family member of the Jury for ETCS 3. PARTICIPATION FEE There is no entry fee for participation in the Competition. 4. PROGRAM DURATION Program shall start from 11th September 2018 and will conclude on 28th February 2019 (“Program Period”). TIL reserves the right to extend or shorten the Program Period at its sole discretion. 5. PROGRAM DETAILS a. This Program is divided into 4 Phases and each phase is eliminative in nature. The phases consist of series of online tests, group activities, group discussion, one to one interviews etc. b. Phase details are: i. Phase 1 - Psychometric Acumen Assessment - The participants shall be assessed on their psychological acumen through an online assessment. ii. Phase 2 - Domain Knowledge Assessment - The shortlisted participants shall be assessed on their domain expertise through an online proctored assessment. iii. Phase 3 – Group Exercise - The shortlisted participants shall undergo a group exercise that will evaluate them on their communication and interpersonal skills along with group dynamics and leadership skills. The assessment will be conducted on-ground at pre-decided venues by The Economic Times Digital. iv. Phase 4 – Interaction with Program Jury- In the final phase, the shortlisted participants shall get a chance for a one-on-one interaction with the Program Jury comprising CEOs of India Inc. Basis these interactions, India’s most coveted list of brightest engineers will be created c. Participant may require to travel to the base locations provided by TIL. d. Participants will be asked to furnish valid documentation supporting their registration details at various phases in the Program. Non-compliance will lead to disqualification. e. Multiple entries by the same participant are not permitted. f. The decision of the Evaluation Panel for each phase shall be final. No communication will be entered with any person in relation to any decision of the panel or process. g. TIL can verify participants by themselves or through any third party at any stage of the Program. h. TIL can mention the name, college of the participant through advertisements, editorial, Site as & when they deem fit. i. ETCS may change the Terms and Conditions of participation at any time without prior notice. The amended Terms and Conditions of Entry will be effective immediately upon being posted on the Site. Important changes to the Terms and Conditions may be highlighted on the Site for your convenience; however, you acknowledge that it is your sole responsibility to regularly visit the Site to read any changes to the Terms and Conditions of entry. j. The Program will run from the starting and ending dates as decided by TIL . TIL reserves the right to modify, cancel, discontinue or terminate the Program at any time or to accept or reject any or all entries at their absolute discretion without giving any prior notice and without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Decisions of TIL will be final and binding on all participants and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. k. TIL reserves the right to terminate the registration at any time or in the event the information, including your e-mail address, is no longer current or accurate. The participant shall be the only authorized user through the User Name, User Identification and Password. l. The shortlisted Participants will be intimated individually at the email address and/or contact number provided by them. m. All decisions made by TIL shall be final and not open to challenge.

n. While TIL makes every reasonable effort to ensure the quality and accuracy of the information posted within the Program Site, TIL assumes no responsibility for, and does not guarantee, the accuracy, currency, completeness or usefulness of information in any material about the Program, and does not endorse, oppose or edit any opinions, recommendations or predictions posted by the participants or other members, except TIL may remove or delete what appears to be potentially unlawful content or content otherwise prohibited under these Terms and Conditions. o. The data published at the Program Site is for informational purposes only. p. The content available in the Program Site is the sole property of TIL and that of its partners and is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patent or other proprietary rights and laws. q. The Listed Participants may be offered PPI or Internship opportunities by various companies basis them making it to the list. However, TIL shall at no time be responsible or liable for the fulfilment of the same or for any actions or inactions on part of the companies or the Listed Participants Listed Participants. r. The Participant also provides his/her wilful express consent to be contacted for the purposes of Program, related programs and the services of TIL, our agents, representatives, affiliates, or anyone calling on our behalf at any contact number, or electronic address provided by Participant while applying for Program. You further agree to us contacting you in any manner, including without limitation, email, SMS messages (including text messages), calls using pre-recorded messages or artificial voice, calls and messages delivered using auto telephone dialling system or an automatic texting system, and notifications sent via the Website to improve our Program and provide you the most user-friendly experience. s. The referred user also agrees and understands that he/she may be contacted for this Program if his/her friends/acquaintances refer him/her to participate in ETCS by filling in his/her details in the ‘Refer A Friend’ section on the ETCS website. However, if the user does not wish to participate, he/she shall expressly state the same, following which TIL shall not contact the user for any purposes whatsoever. In case the user opts to participate this the Program, these terms and conditions will apply to such user. 6. Participant’s Representations and Warranties The Participant hereby represents and warrants that:- a. He/She shall be solely responsible for all statements made, or acts or omissions that occur through the use of their Username, User Identification and Password. b. He/She shall not provide or make known his/her Username, User Identification Password or e-mail address to any other person for the purpose of facilitating such person's access and unauthorized use c. All content herein is the sole property of The Economic Times Digital/TIL and its Program partners d. The information in, or derived from, predictions and other information including without limitation text, graphics, images, animations, computer programmes, data, designs, logos and button icons and the arrangement,

collection and assembly thereof, is the property of The Economic Times Digital/TIL, and may not be copied, modified, adapted, translated, mirrored, decompiled, disassembled, republished, redistributed, transmitted, altered, edited or exploited in any manner for any purpose, except the participants are hereby permitted to display, print and store one (1) electronic copy of information provided by The Economic Times Digital/TIL for own personal use. e. Upon posting Information or conducting Communications, he/she grants the Economic Times Digital/TIL and its successors and assigns a non- exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, unrestricted license under your copyrights or other intellectual property rights in such Information or Communications, if any, to use, license, sub-license, adapt, distribute, display, publicly perform, reproduce, transmit, modify, edit and create derivative works from such material in any and all media, in any manner, in whole or in part, now known or hereafter developed without any duty to account to User. f. He/She waives all rights to any claim against The Economic Times/ TIL or its affiliates and Program partners for any alleged or actual infringement of any proprietary rights, rights of privacy and publicity, moral rights, and rights of attribution in connection with such Information or Communications. g. He/She grants TIL the right to authorize the downloading and printing of such Information or Communications, or any portion thereof, by other users for their personal use. h. He/She agrees that TIL may, in their sole discretion, terminate or suspend his/her access to all or part of Program for any reason, including without limitation breach of these Terms and Conditions (or any subsequent modifications hereof). i. TIL, its affiliates, and any independent contractor and Program partners engaged by The Economic Times/TIL to assist in moderating Program, shall not be liable in any way, and you hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Economic Times/TIL, its affiliates, and any independent contractor and Program partners to assist in moderating the Program, from any claim, demand, proceeding, damages, injuries, liabilities, losses, costs or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) made by any third party relating to or arising out of (i) your use of this site or any information, products, services or software available on or through this site; (ii) your breach of these Terms and Conditions or other improper act or omission by you; (iii) any inaccuracy, error or delay in, or omissions of (a) any such data or information on the Program or (b) the transmission or delivery of any such data or information; (iv) unauthorized access; (v) theft; or (vi) any loss or damage arising from or occasioned by (a) any such inaccuracy, error, delay or omission; (b) non-performance or (c) interruption of any such data or information due either to any negligent act or omission by the Program or The Economic Times/TIL or to any "force majeure" (i.e., flood, extraordinary weather conditions, earthquake, or other act of God, fire, war, insurrection, riot, labor dispute, accident, action of government, communications power failure, or equipment or software malfunction) or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of TIL

7. TIL’s Responsibilities a. The Economic Times Digital/TIL and its affiliates and Program partners shall not be liable to you or any third party for any claims related to your termination from the Program b. The Economic Times Digital/TIL is providing this Program Site and its contents on an "as is" basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this Site or the content, information and materials contained within or accessible through this site, including without limitation, that they are accurate, complete or current c. TIL's decision will be final and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. The entries shall be the sole property of The Economic Times Digital/TIL, who shall be free to use the same for any promotional or other activities in future d. The Economic Times Digital/TIL holds no warranty and makes no representation regarding the quality of the Prizes, if any. All the Prizes will fall under the standard terms and conditions for warranty as defined by the concerned Company by whom the Prizes/Grand Prize is sponsored/ manufactured. Winners of the Prizes shall be bound by the terms and conditions as communicated to them by the respective sponsors. Prizes cannot be exchanged for their value in cash or for other prizes e. Participants are solely responsible for any expenses incurred in participating in the Program in any Phase or in the acceptance and use of the prizes. The Economic Times Digital/TIL and sponsors shall not be responsible for any loss or damages suffered by the Participants while participating in the Program f. The Economic Times Digital/TIL shall not be liable for any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of profits, business, revenue and/or goodwill. In the event, The Economic Times Digital/TIL is held liable for any damages, the aggregate liability of The Economic Times Digital/TIL under this Program shall not be more than the value of prize won by the Participant. The aggregate liability of The Economic Times Digital/TIL, in case of any damage, loss, cost, claim, liability or expense (including legal costs and expenses) caused to or incurred by any act, omission or representation in respect of the gratification/s of this Program to any individual winner, shall not exceed the value of gratification won by the winner

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction This Program shall be governed by laws of India. All disputes arising out of or in connection with this Program and/or terms and conditions as mentioned herein, which cannot be resolved amicably, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi.
