Lionsgate Entertainment World® Has Officially Opened; Delivering New Entertainment Offerings in Hengqin International Leisure Tourism Island, and Fostering Economic Diversification in Macau Lionsgate’s first movie-themed multi-sensory interactive center in the world features six Hollywood blockbuster franchises like The Hunger Games, The Twilight Saga and The Divergent Series as the story backgrounds of the attractions, delivering an innovative, immersive and diversified entertainment experience truly unique in the Greater Bay Area
Hong Kong, 31 July 2019 - Lionsgate Entertainment World®1, Lionsgate’s first movie-themed multi-sensory interactive center in the world, celebrated its grand opening today. In addition to delivering innovative and state-of-the-art entertainment, the center offers a highly immersive and diversified experience, via themed dining outlets, merchandise, as well as a wide array of interactive games.

Lionsgate Entertainment World is situated in Novotown, an integrated tourism and entertainment project in Hengqin by Hong Kong’s Lai Fung Group. Spanning across 22,000 sqm of premium indoor space, Lionsgate Entertainment World® provides over 30 interactive and immersive attractions.

The Twilight Saga - Bella’s Journey
A dark ride journey paired with a HD display that integrates various special effects.
Guests will follow Bella’s steps and venture deep into the woods to experience the trials and triumphs of the forbidden love. With special effects designed by Oscar- winning company Framestore, guests will be able to relive the thrilling Twilight love story.

The Twilight Saga - Midnight Ride
Exquisite hardware coupled with patented state-of-art technology and big data analytics
Patented for its technology, The Twilight Saga - Midnight Ride is the world’s first multiplayer interactive hyper-reality VR simulator experience. Inspired by the conflict between werewolves and vampires, the ride will transport guests to the town of Forks, where they will join the werewolves in a daring chase after the vampires through the woods.
Every motorcycle is real and has been modified to allow guests to experience a realistic journey where they are in control. They will feel the wind, vibrations and turns as they take control.
Hunger Games - Mockingjay Flight Rebel Escape
A unique motion-based cabin simulator that offers two riding experiences in the same cabin
Upon stepping into the cabin, guests will break through the underground world beneath the Capitol, evading dangers as they finally escape the city. Equipped with a multi-media motion-based system, the simulator offers six directions of movement and vibrations on a platform 4.5 meters above the ground.
Gods of Egypt - Battle for Eternity
Indoor purpose-built VR roller coaster
Soar like a god on this high-speed, VR roller coaster adventure through Ancient Egypt. As an epic battle wages between good and evil, it’s time to prove your valor, strength and devotion. It’s time to fight alongside the Gods of Egypt!

Dining experience
Lionsgate Entertainment World® recreates signature F&B venues from the movies, with carefully designed interiors and delicacies.
The opulent Capitol Club in the Capitol provides a fine-dining experience in an elegant setting. Guests will be able to savor more than 31 dishes of Chinese, Western and Southeast Asian flavors. Not-to-be-missed is the “Royal Grain Fed Rib Eye”, with carefully selected premium Australian wagyu beef, grilled to perfection.
The Oculus Lounge found in the streets of Macau, is another specialty venue. The mystic lounge offers beverages full of magical surprises, such as the “Disappearing Cotton Candy Martini”.
Shops and merchandise
The retail within Lionsgate Entertainment World® has been exquisitely designed to recreate the scenes from the movies.
In Now You See Me 2 , Jay Chou played the role of the successor at the century-old Iong’s Magic Shop, and Lionsgate Entertainment World® brings this amazing shop to life. Inside, guests can purchase various magic props and try their hands at some magic.
At The Capitol, guests can immerse themselves into the World of The Hunger Games by visiting Capitol Couture, where they will go through a makeover with decadent costumes and immaculate makeup.

Live performances
To enhance the theatrical atmosphere and entertainment experience, Lionsgate Entertainment World® features live performances at the Atrium and throughout the park, surprising guests anytime, anywhere!
Guests can watch the Hunger Games-inspired Capitol Fashion Show at the Atrium ; enjoy exotic Egyptian performances at the Egyptian Marketplace and get up close with the roaming magicians hidden throughout the Macau Night Markets.

Lionsgate Entertainment World® offers more than just amusement rides, throughout the park guests will find a number of exciting experiences including
Fear challenges apart from amusement rides
Covering an area of 570 square meters, The Chasm Challenge Course is a massive indoor climbing course with 48 check points designed to put one’s physical limit, courage and skills to the test.
The Fear Simulator draws its inspiration from the Dauntless training depicted in the movies. Guests will put on VR equipment before walking into a dark maze. During this test, they will have to face their fears in the VR world, and attempt to escape as quickly as possible using the clues provided.
Massive interactive video gameplays
In addition to amusement rides and challenges, guests can compete in various interactive games throughout the park.
Located in the Dauntless Pit Combat Arena, is a massive motion detection game that allows guests to practice unarmed combat whilst following the beat.
Guests can compete with their friends in various motion games located throughout the park, including Precision Test in the Dauntless Pit and Bek's Treasure Run in the Kingdom of Egypt.

Guests can create their own glamorous look at Capitol Couture within The Capitol, or choose their own tattoo from Dauntless Ink .
Three classic photo taking points to preserve precious memories
For guests who love to capture memories, Lionsgate Entertainment World® offers plenty of opportunities, including the Macau Night Markets which brings the fabulous streets of Macau to Hengqin, The Egyptian Marketplace and the Gazebo from The Twilight Saga.

The off-season and peak-season price of a standard 1 day ticket are RMB250 and RMB280 respectively, while guests with height between 1 to 1.4m can enjoy a special price of RMB175 (off season) or RMB195 (peak season).
