Liza Vespi Co‐Director/Story Editor/Executive Producer Liza holds a degree in Fine Arts from the and studied Screenwriting at George Brown College. She has worked as an interactive graphic artist, production designer, writer and producer in film, television and communications for over 20 years. At Nelvana, Canada’s premiere animation studio, she supervised pre‐production on over 30 television series and feature films, including Bob and Margaret, Babar, Franklin, Little Bear and Maurice Sendak’s Seven Little Monsters. SLAUGHTER NICK FOR PRESIDENT marks her debut as a documentary filmmaker.

Rob Stewart Co‐Director/Producer/Writer Rob is a television actor with 25 years’ experience in TV series and MOWs, including Tropical Heat (aka Sweating Bullets), Painkiller Jane, Nikita, LA Complexand Heartland. Rob began his career as a writer/director, and later, while starring as the lead character Nick Slaughter in Tropical Heat, he also wrote and directed five episodes. SLAUGHTER NICK FOR PRESIDENT is Rob’s first foray into documentary filmmaking. He lives in Brampton, , a suburb of , where he spends much of his time in a beat‐up Dodge Caravan driving his athletic son to hockey and soccer matches.

Marc Vespi Co‐Director/Producer/Writer Artist/Filmmaker Marc Vespi studied Cinema at Carleton University and earned a degree from the now‐ defunct New School of Art. During the mid to late 1990s Marc worked mainly as a painter, but he later retired from the visual arts when a solo show in Toronto ended in litigation, with the Harper Administration attempting to have Marc brought up on charges of "gross public indecency" and "over‐ zealous use of creative freedom." Among his many writing credits, Marc enjoys the dubious honour of having been a staff writer for the worst show in the history of television.

Chuck Scott Story Consultant Chuck Scott is an award‐winning producer/director with over 240 documentary and factual television programs successfully completed. His production company has partnered with many producers in Canada and abroad. These shows were shot in over 50 countries around the world. Chuck’s shows have aired on major broadcasters such as BBC, Five, PBS, NHK, CBC, CTV, Global, Discovery Channels in Canada and the US on National Geographic, Science Channel, Discovery Health and many more. Chuck has also produced and/or directed hundreds of commercials, music videos, corporate videos, a comedy feature film, two documentary features, children’s shows and a daytime talk show.
