Day 1: Koblenz

Individual arrival to Koblenz

Day 2: Koblenz - - Cochem (approx. 27 km/ 17 miles)

The boat brings you to Alken where you start your first bike tour to Moselk- ern. Then we join the boat again in Cochem. Optional visit of the castle.

Day 3: Cochem - Zell/Mosel (approx. 35 km/ 22 miles)

Today you cycle to Beilstein where you enjoy this beautiful city during a city tour. Your tour ends in the wine city of Zell.

Day 4: Zell/Mosel - Bernkastel-Kues (approx. 45 km/ 28 miles)

Today´s tour leads you to Traben Trarbach, the centre of art-nouveau. After- wards you reach Bernkastel-Kues: the quaint half-timbered houses gathering around the market square are surely the most beautiful in the region.

Day 5: Bernkastel-Kues - Mehring (approx. 50 km/ 31miles)

In the morning you visit the largest winegrowers´cooperative alongside the . Afterwards you cycle to Neumagen-Dhron, the oldest wine-grower town of Germany. After lunch you go on to today´s destination.

Day 6: Mehring - Trier/Konz (approx. 26-34 km/ 16-21 miles)

You chug along to Trier/Konz where the ship awaits you. Enjoy the city with its well-known roman city gate and impressively buildings - Trier is one of the oldest city in Germany.

Day 7: Trier/Konz - Mettlach - Saarburg (approx. 35 km/ 22 miles)

The ship will bring you to Saarburg, also famous as "little Venice". From there you cycle to Mettlach, where you have the possibility to visit "Villeroy and Boch". Then you ride back to Saarburg.

Day 8: Saarburg

What to Expect Getting There What will the weather be like? The weather is nice and cool especially in the mornings and evenings. A sweater or  Airports: fleece would be useful. How fit do I need to be? The fitter the better, but even a fit beginner will enjoy this trip. The biggest issue may just be getting accustomed to sitting on a bike for hours a day, so get used to riding on a bike before coming out.

What are the accommodations like? Cabins are all fitted with 2 beds, a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. The main common areas include the upper deck with the dining rooms and lounge. All barges have an outdoor deck to enjoy as well.
