GRILLED STRIP STEAK WITH SCAMPI SHRIMP ROSES
2 pc. 8-10oz New York Strip Steak 1 clove garlic, minced Montreal steak seasoning Pinch of red pepper flakes 8-10 pcs. Shrimp Roses Splash of white wine 1-2 tsp. olive oil Pinch of fresh chopped parsley 2-3 tbsp. butter, melted Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS Lightly oil steaks and season with steak seasoning. Begin to grill until desired doneness. While grilling, preheat a small sauté pan and add melted butter, minced ESTIMATED COST TO PRODUCE garlic, and Shrimp Roses; Let simmer for about a minute. Add red pepper flakes, chopped parsley and deglaze with white wine. Let reduce for about 1-2 minutes. $______PER PORTION Remove from heat and serve over finished steak.Yields 2 servings
SEAFOOD ROSE APPETIZER WITH ORANGE GINGER SOY AND WASABI
8 pcs. Seafood Roses 1/2 tsp. ginger, grated Wasabi powder, follow directions Juice from 1/2 orange Water for Wasabi powder Pinch of brown sugar 1/4 cup quality soy sauce Pinch of sesame seeds, toasted
DIRECTIONS In small saucepan, combine soy sauce, ginger, sesame seeds, orange juice, and brown sugar; simmer for 5 minutes to infuse flavors. Remove from heat and let cool at least 1 hour before serving. Combine wasabi powder and water per directions . Finally, arrange seafood roses on plate with soy ginger sauce in middle with dabs of wasabi paste surrounding seafood roses. Yields 2 servings ESTIMATED COST TO PRODUCE
