A PROCLAMATION.

W. D. BATTERSHILL, Governor. Whereas it is expedient to amend the boundaries of the villages of , Kolossi, Trakhoni and Asomatos, in the District of ; Now, therefore, I, William Denis Battershill, Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over the Colony of Cyprus, by and in virtue of the power and authority vested in me by the Village Authorities Laws, 1931 to (No. 2) 1937, and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf do proclaim and order as follows :— That as from the 1st day of October, 1940 :— (1) the plots and portions of plots of land described in the First Schedule hereto, heretofore reckoned within the boundaries of the village of Akrotiri, shall form part of the lands of the village of Kolossi; (2) the plots and portions of plots of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, heretofore reckoned within the boundaries of the village of Trakhoni, shall form part of the lands of the village of Asomatos ; (3) the plots and portions of plots of land described in the Third Schedule hereto, heretofore reckoned within the boundaries of the village of Kolossi, shall form part of the lands of the village of Trakhoni, and that the boundaries of the said villages of Akrotiri, Kolossi, Trakhoni and Asomatos be altered accordingly.

I, the Governor in Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Agricultural Produce (Export) Law, 1933, do hereby declare tobacco to be agricultural produce for the purposes of the said Law.
