Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations 2017 Regular Session 30 January – 8 February and 21 February 2017 Information Note for Participants The 2016 regular session of the Committee on NGOs will take place from 30 January to 8 February 2017 at United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Committee will meet again on 21 February 2017 to adopt its report of the session. The session is expected to consider 289 new applications for status by NGOs as well as 235 applications deferred from earlier sessions. The Committee will also review 360 quadrennial reports of NGOs in general or special consultative status, as well as 90 quadrennial reports deferred from earlier sessions. The session's recommendations will be sent to the Economic and Social Council for its approval during the coordination and management meetings of the Council to be held from 26 to 28 April 2017.
