M.M.Khanna, INVC, Chandigarh, Inter National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD), Fresher Bash 2013 is ‘A SALUTE TO THE DESIGNERS, BY THE DESIGNERS FOR DESIGNING THEIR CAREER’ by the INIFD students for bringing a Glimpse of the Designer's world - Manish Malhotra for Kareena Kapoor, Kajol; Neeta Lulla for Ashwarya Rai Bachhan, Sridevi; Sabyasachi for Rani Mukherjee, Vidya Balan at the party at JW Marriott, Chandigarh. INIFD Freshers Bash welcomed the new fresh faces and also inspired them to develop a fashion insight by experimentation of various dressing styles & looks in a very designer manner! All INIFDians posed at the specially created ‘A Walk at the Red Carpet’ with the props in their hand and got clicked live for their wonderful Designer attire and appearance. The Creative INIFD Design Students stylized themselves by adoring the styles of renowned Fashion Gurus creating their own new fashion statement. The entire venue was adorned with the spirit of Fashion with props and backdrop reflecting the Designers and the bollywood stars for who the Designers have created the beautiful and much appreciated outfits. Apart from Bollywood, it is also a salute to all the budding designers and to the mentors, Fashion Gurus and our very own INIFD student Gen Next Designers Sabah Khan, Sukhwant & Aastha, Manoj & Vinod, Kavita, Shubham, Asa who after creating waves at Lakme Fashion Week are now an integral part of the Fashion Fraternity of India. INIFD Freshers Bash 2013 - full of colour, fashion & creativity offered a complete entertainment for the crowd all under one roof to celebrate the induction of new students to the INIFD Family. The entire venue was adorned with the spirit of Fashion with props and backdrop reflecting ‘The Tribute to Designers’ designed and executed by the INIFD students of Fashion & Interior Design. The interesting element of the ‘INIFD Freshers Bash’ was that the contestants were judged for the following categories – INIFD Mr. & Miss Fresher, INIFD Fresh Face award (through Online Voting), INIFD Style Icon Award, Best Designer Outfit award, Best Dancer (Male & Female) and INIFD Design Guru (for the best dressed faculty). The contestants did an amazing catwalk with props and music in a creative manner. The ambience was full of energy with INIFD students dressed up in beautiful designer outfits, complimented with the dance performances to set up the mood of the audience. INIFD finds this to be the perfect way for welcoming their new students in a very designer way! The INIFD Freshers’ Bash was filled with energy and vibrations of the INIFDians grooving in the Fashionable styles to the rocking music of DJ Bhanu at specially created dance floor. INIFD family welcomed all freshers with joyous colors and millions of smiles at this joyful event.
