  • L3 Coa Graphics Design Basics
[1] GRAPHIC DESIGN BASICS COAGB301: Apply graphic design basics LU 1: Introduce graphic design basics 1.1: Describe key features and formats of digital images 1.1.1: Description of digital images key features Digital images key features Pixel Resolution Size Lossy image file compression Lossless image file compression Raster graphics Vector graphics Pixel In digital imaging, a pixel or picture element is a physical point in a raster image or the smallest addressable element in an all points addressable display device; so it is the smallest controllable element of a picture represented on the screen. Resolution What does image resolution mean? Resolution refers to the number of pixels in an image. Resolution is sometimes identified by the width and height of the image as well as the total number of pixels in the image. For example, an image that is 2048 pixels wide and 1536 pixels high (2048 x 1536) contains (multiply) 3,145,728 pixels (or 3.1 Megapixels). You could call it a 2048 x 1536 or a 3.1 Megapixel image. As the megapixels in the pickup device in your camera increase so does the possible maximum size image you can produce. This means that a 5 megapixel camera is capable of capturing a larger image than a 3 megapixel camera. How does image resolution play out on my computer monitor? The computer screen you are looking at right now is set at a particular resolution as well. The larger the screen, the larger you likely have your screen resolution set. If you have a 17" monitor, likely you have it set at 800 x 600 pixels.

8/24/2020 Windows Embedded Compact | Microsoft Wiki | Fandom Windows Embedded Compact Windows Embedded Compact,[1] formerly Windows Embedded CE Windows Embedded Compact and Windows CE, is an operating system subfamily developed by Microsoft as part of its Windows Embedded family of products.* Unlike Windows Embedded Standard, which is based on Windows NT, Windows Embedded Compact uses a different hybrid kernel.[2] Microsoft licenses Windows CE to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), who can modify and create their own user interfaces and experiences, with Windows CE providing the technical foundation to do so. The current version of Windows Embedded Compact supports x86 and ARM processors with board support package (BSP) directly.[3] The MIPS and SHx architectures had support prior to version 7.0. On every version, changing the view options like showing hidden stuff in the Windows folder will lead you a bunch of stuff. Most of them are just images, while those files are a bunch of system files. The "homelogo" file is used in Internet Explorer Mobile, it can be seen on the home page (it Developer Microsoft probably appears on 6.0 and lower) and on these versions, it haves the old CE logo that can be customized on the desktop to make it look like a OS family Windows old version. Working state Supported Contents [show] Source model Closed Source Released November 16, 1996 Features as Windows CE 1.0 Windows CE is optimized for devices that have minimal memory; a Windows CE kernel may run with one megabyte of memory.[4] Devices Final release 8.0 (Embedded Compact 2013) are often configured without disk storage, and may be configured as a June 13, 2013 "closed" system that does not allow for end-user extension (for instance, it can be burned into ROM).

  • How to Save an Excel Graph (Or Anything Else on Your Screen) As A
Created 5/28/15 How to Save an Excel Graph (or anything else on your screen) as a JPG file in Microsoft Windows There are at least 2 ways to save a screen shot as a JPG in Microsoft Windows. One is to use Snipping Tool and the other is to use the Print Screen key. With either tool, you will copy ‘the picture’ on your screen and paste it in Microsoft Paint, and use the tools in Microsoft Paint to save the JPG image. If you don’t already use Snipping Tool or Paint, you may want to pin them to your taskbar so they are readily accessible. How to Pin Tools to your Taskbar Snipping Tool. Click the Start button. In the Search field, replace Search programs and files with Snip. Snipping Tool will appear in the Search Results. Right click on Snipping Tool and click Pin to taskbar. Paint. Click the Start button. In the Search field, replace Search programs and files with Paint. Paint will appear in the Search Results. Right click on Paint and click Pin to taskbar. Prepare Your Screen The key is to make sure ‘the picture’ on your screen is exactly as you would like it to appear. In addition, make sure that it fills your screen so you have the highest resolution possible. In Word, use View>Read Mode and adjust the zoom so ‘the picture’ fills the screen. In Excel or PowerPoint, adjust the zoom so ‘the picture’ fills the screen. Use Snipping Tool to capture screen shots 1. With ‘the picture’ on the screen, open Snipping Tool.

  • Paint.Net V3.5.5
Paint.net v3.5.5 Featuring an easy-to-use interface and an array of effects, Paint.net is a solid free photo editing applications for those that don't need the power of Photoshop or Web sharing. PROS: Simple to use. Wide variety of effects, including 3D rotation and zoom. Layering. Free. CONS: Lack of photo organization and sharing features may turn off some users. No Mac version. COMPANY: dotPDN LLC SPEC DATA: Type: Personal Free: Yes, Yes OS Compatibility: Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 7 By Jeffrey L. Wilson If you're looking for a photo manipulation tool that offers more complexity than Microsoft Paint but doesn't have the intimidation factor of a beast like Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended ($699 to $999 list, $199–$899 list for upgrades, 5 stars), then dotPDN's Paint.net may fit the bill. This Windows-only desktop photo editing application (which draws its name from its Microsoft.Net programming foundation) features a simple, intuitive interface, a number of plug-ins, and an excellent price (free) that makes it well worth checking out. Setup After a quick setup (the software installed in under a minute, but it may take longer if your machine doesn't have the Microsoft .Net framework already installed and Paint.net has to download it for you), I launched the program and was greeted with a blank, white canvas. Depending on your operating system, you may experience eye-candy. If your PC is running Windows 7 or Windows Vista, Paint.net will be beautified with Aero Glass transparencies—something that Windows XP computers won't display—giving it an appearance of being part of the OS itself.
