Charitable Campaign - Bright Future Care Africa, Fight the Virus Together!

The COVID-19 epidemic has swept the globe, and reached the peak and threatened Africa at this moment. The number of new infections makes everyone worried a lot. Within five months, nearly 17,000 people have lost their lives in Africa. The rapid spread of the epidemic not only harms the lives of African people, but also causes serious economic and food crises. BF Suma, a subsidiary of Bright Future, has turned our concerns into anti-epidemic actions, and has received positive responses from all the offices in the African market. The offices in , Nigeria, , DR Congo and Zambia actively involved in this charitable campaign and donated a large amount of anti-epidemic materials and food to African governments for helping vulnerable people in communities to fight the epidemic and overcome the difficult times altogether.

Kenya

On June 3, the BF Suma management team in Kenya led by the Regional Manager Ms. Lilian Chen donated 6000pcs masks and 600 kg of food to Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation, which belongs to the former Vice , Kalonzo Musyoka. "We are willing to help communities and individuals survive through this epidemic crisis, and we are honored to support the government to fight the epidemic together, so BF Suma acted immediately so that everyone can look forward to a better tomorrow," Ms. Chen said.

Mr. Kalonzo Musyoka, the former Vice President of Kenya spoke on behalf of the Foundation, “BF Suma plans to donate these emergency and anti-epidemic supplies and food to those in need, and use practical actions to express love and care.” At the same time, he called for other enterprises in Kenya to imitate BF Suma and continue to support the government to help needy people."

Nigeria

On June 16, BF Suma donated food and masks to the Kaduna State government, Nigeria, to assist the government in distributing them to needy people in time to overcome the epidemic, which included more than 50 cartons of noodles, over 10 big bags of rice and facial masks and so on.

Mr. Collins Obinna, the BF Suma team leader said, “The donation is designed to support the good work of the state government to help the economy of the region and the low-income people whose livelihoods are severely affected by COVID-19.”

Mr. Alhaji Mohammed, Human Services Secretariat of Permanent Secretary of the State Government, was glad to say, “This donation will greatly help the State Government to improve people’s lives.”

Uganda

BF Suma Uganda Office donated more than 1.3 tonnes of food worth five million Ugandan shillings and the company's hand-cleaning products to the local COVID-19 anti-epidemic team. The purpose of the donation is to help people who have lost their jobs due to the epidemic in the central area of and its suburbs.

Ms. Wency Zhang, the country assistant manager, and Mr. Mutumba Paddy, the top leader, handed over the items to the government minister at the twin towers at the Parliament premises. The minister expressed his gratitude to BF Suma, which provided support to the disadvantaged and poor and provided good help in fighting the COVID-19 epidemic.

Zambia

BF Suma management Zambia, led by Regional Manager Mr. Nick Miao on the 1st of July this year partnered the Mayor Miles Sampa to make donation towards the COVID-19 outbreak all over the country. BF Suma presented a total of 3000 ear-looped disposable face masks and a large amount of food and daily needs, including 100 kg of rice, 750 kg of mealie meal and 40 packs of bottled water, as well as a large amount of washing powder to help vulnerable people in the city.

The Mayor Miles Sampa thanked BF Suma during the event for its donation and attention to the health of Lusaka residents. Mr. Nick Miao said, “BF Suma is a global pharmaceutical company with a sense of social responsibility. We hope to cooperate with the council to fight the coronavirus. What we’ve done will complement the government's measures to fight the new coronavirus. We are very grateful for this opportunity and look forward to creating a better future with us, BF Suma."

Democratic Republic of Congo

On June 27 in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo, BF Suma donated amount of anti- epidemic materials and food (2000pcs ear-looped disposable masks, 250 kg bagged rice and flour maize and 800 bottles of drinking water, etc.) to the BUMI community. During the donation ceremony, Mr. Alex Nie as the BF Suma representative accepted an interview of a local television station and talked about the development of BF SUMA in Africa, and expressed the concerns to the residents of the country. He hoped that everyone could raise their awareness of epidemic prevention.

Ms. Sarah Moser received donations on behalf of the BUMI community. At the same time, Mr. Kabange Paulin, the leader of BF Suma DRC community, said that,“he was very proud of the Company's good act in fighting the epidemic, and health products are the core business of the

company. He will spare no effort in continuing to contribute to the improvement of human health with the Company.”
