Communications NEIL MCNEIL PRESENTS FUNDRAISER FOR JAPAN:

Department 80 Sheppard Avenue East “IN A GROVE: FOUR JAPANESE TALES OF THE SUPERNATURAL” North York, M2N 6E8 Neil McNeil High School will present "In a Grove: Four Japanese Tales of the Supernatural" for their 2011 Spring Drama Production, on Thursday, May 19th.

Media Contact: Written by Eric Coble, the story takes place in a grove that was once the village of Emmy Szekeres Milne Acting Manager Kogisu and covers a time period from hundreds of years ago to the present. Communications 416-222-8282 Ext. 2356 Obosan, a traditional Japanese priest, is the only one left from his village to tell its [email protected] many tales. These include the story of the secret villager Keizuke must keep from his friends and wife of Yukionna, The Snow Spirit; the tale of a roaming pack of Information: demons whose stomachs never go empty in The Oni Dilemma; the clash between Lesley Anderson Kozo, a punk Japanese gangster, and Uta, a peaceful, singing monk in The Song of 416-393-5502 the Dead and, finally, the account of the lethal encounter between Hyoroku, a wandering stranger and Azukitogi, The Bean Grinder.

There will be one evening performance for the general public. The doors will open at 6:30 pm and the play will begin at 7 pm. Its running time is approximately 75 minutes.
