6 External Envelope

6.1 Materials

The materials used for the temporary store are to be simple and reusable/recyclable once the main store is complete. The proposal is for timber weatherboard cladding with timber doors, which could potentially be used to build a new gardener’s shed afterwards.

The roof will be in corrugated cement fibre. No glazing will be provided as it is only for short-term temporary use.
