A Message from the State:

Hello Everyone!

Can you believe how fast this year has flown by! It was 50 degrees outside this morning in Pierre, where did summer go?!

I am following up on the South Dakota product audit that I mentioned last month. We have been working on a way to conduct an audit of all South Dakota tourism products so we can share them with trade professionals, have info for our website and to keep in touch with our travel industry in SD.

We have created a system that will funnel directly into our database so we can pull reports on SD product. Here is where I need your help, could you please share the link below with all of your partners and tourism industry members in your city and region to make this audit as complete as possible. The more people and businesses in your area that fill this out, the more info we can share about your area! The reports we create from this audit will be used for follow-up to travel professionals from around the world, itinerary suggestions, possible press coverage and media pitching conversations, and additional complimentary promotional opportunities. https://forms.zohopublic.com/techsupport2/form/ConferenceSignUp/formperma/9- _tZzcW9LOiiyAxFTHGES5wqVbL01g6irK7eNczaa0

Who we want to fill this out? Hotels Unique Lodging Tourism Attractions Guided Tour Companies Food and Beverage (Breweries, Wineries, Dictionaries, Restaurants) Rental Companies

If you could encourage your partners to complete this by Sept. 13th we would greatly appreciate it. After that we will pull reports for your area and send them to you so you can see who has responded. If anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to us!

Thank you for all of your hard work!

Best Wishes, Cole Irwin | Global Travel & Trade Director Department of Tourism
