In addition, our Junior Junior teams were involved in league play and 3 tournaments this year. It was nice watching their skills develop over the course of the season. Thank you to the coaches of all the Junior Junior Teams; Ms. Anstice and Mr. Klopoushak, Mr. Nsaliwa and Alumni Volunteers.

Junior Hoops took place on March 7-8th. Congratulations to the Jr Jr Girls (2nd Place) and Jr Jr Boys (4th Place) on an outstanding tournament. Special congratulations to #1 Jenny Libanao and #10 Rhys Barlarge on being named Tournament All Stars!!

Jaret Peel Athletic Director Junior High Badminton has begun and we are excited to announce that at LSL we is running a Junior High Badminton team. Tryouts are well underway with the season starting on April 3rd. Thank you to Mr. Lapierre for coaching this team.

Varsity Badminton Team coached by Mr. Peel, Mr. Zeggil, Mr. Garcia, Ms. Dimatatec and Mr. Dol Dol began in early March and will continue into May. Congratulations to all players for their great effort at the HABIT Harry Ainlay Badminton Invitational Tournament. (See pictures below)

We are also in the Concordia Invitational April 6-7th and Romero Invitational April 12-13th after the break.

Jaret Peel Athletic Director Varsity Soccer is here and meetings/tryouts will occur during the first week in April. All teams will begin immediately following Spring Break and practices will be indoors until the fields are dry and ready to go!! Ms. Schiavon will be coaching the Varsity Men and Mr. Vandendooren and Mr. Klopoushak the Varsity Women.

Varsity High School Track and Field is due to start after Spring Break. Registration will begin very soon with meets occurring in May and June. Please see Mr. Peel and Mr. Nsaliwa to indicate your interest in this sport.

Junior High Slow pitch… watch for tryout signs around the school. The Junior High Team will start practicing towards the end of April, weather permitting, in preparation for the season. If you have questions, please see Mr. Faught.

JUNIOR HIGH Track and Field will be the focus in Junior High Phys. Ed. Classes for the next seven weeks after Spring Break. This will be in preparation for our Junior High School meet, scheduled for May 27th at Foote Field, as well as the Zone Meet May 31th at Rollie Miles and City Championships June 10th at Rollie Miles.

** More inforation will come home from Phys. Ed teachers as the season progresses.

Indoor Running Games Congratulations to Jacob Bodnarul for finishing in 2nd place at the Indoor Games for High School Senior 200m event with a time of 23.70. Also, Congratulations to Sophia Zombor on competing in the High School Senior 1500m with a new Personal Best time of 2:43!! Way to go Jacob and Sophia!!
