THE EAST COUNCIL (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 20[**]

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Sections 32, 35, 46 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers the Council propose to introduce a Traffic Regulation Order to ensure the safe use and effective control of a number of Council owned or operated off- street car parks and to introduce charges for parking in a limited number of town centre car parks.

The controlling regulations will apply to all car parks listed in the table below 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The parking charges will apply to the car parks listed in the table below only during the times specified and will apply to all applicable vehicle classes as specified in the Order. There will be no charge for those vehicles correctly displaying a valid Disabled Person’s Blue Badge.
