Notice End Semester Examinations Guidelines for students

Taking into consideration the requests and feedback from parents and students, and in strict conformity with the regulations of the Government, the following decisions are taken regarding the pending End Semester Regular/Supplementary examinations

The following End Semester Regular/Supplementary Examinations shall commence on11th June 2020. a. Fifth Semester Degree Supplementary Examination June 2020(2017 Admission only) b. Second Semester BLISc/MLISc Degree Examination June 2020(Regular/Supplementary) c. Fourth Semester Degree Examination March 2020(Regular/Improvement/Supplementary) d. Fourth Semester Postgraduate Examination March 2020(Regular/Supplementary) e. Fourth Semester MBA Degree Examination June 2020(Regular/Supplementary)

The detailed schedule of examinations and centre of examinations will be available on the college website.

The examination time on the respective days is rescheduled as 10.30 am to 01.30 pm (3 hours). Students shall, in normal case, report to the examination centre at least one hour before the commencement of the examination. No student reporting 30 minutes after the commencement of the examinations shall be admitted to the hall.

To avoid and minimise inter district travel and hostel stay by students hailing from other districts of , the following 14 examination sub centres are also allotted in addition to the main centre (St.Berchmans College, Changanacherry): , Fatima Mata National College, Kollam Citadel Residential School, Ranni Mar Gregoroius College, Punnapra, Sacred Heart College, Thevara, Kochi Marian College, Kuttikkanam, Idukki Mar Baselious College Adimali. A Google form is attached along with this instructions in which all students hailing from other districts of Kerala have to select the preferred centre of examination before 7 pm of 2nd June 2020. An examination centre once selected will not be changed. Any student who may fail to give their centre preference in the google form before 7 pm of 2nd June 2020 shall be presumed to appear for the examinations at the main centre (St Berchmans College) only

Examination Centre allotment of students shall be published on the college website prior to the examinations. Students are directed to ensure their names in the nominal roll and allotted centre on the website before reaching any sub centre.

All Practical examinations shall be conducted at the main centre only. Departments will publish the schedules.

All COVID related health and safety measures issued by the Government are to be strictly followed at all examination centres. A detailed instruction on this will be published in the college website before the commencement of the examinations.

Students appearing for examinations at any centre shall necessarily carry College ID card and Hall ticket. Students shall be liable to produce the same if it requested by any competent authorities in the centres. No student shall be admitted to the examination hall without proper identification by the invigilators.

Departments will publish the schedule of Project evaluation and Viva Voce of S6 UG Programmes. Considering the present situation, Students hailing from districts other than Kottayam or those students who are unable to appear for the viva in person can opt for online viva examination. Viva Voce for the students who are from within Kottayam district shall be conducted in person at college.
