This Resettlement Plan (RPA is prepared for Pakali B Chatara road sub-project that describes the involuntary resettlement plannin process and procedures under Rural Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Sector Development Pro ram (RRRSDPA. 2. The Sub-project is located at Sunsari district which is prioritized in DTMP (Priority No3 2A is nominated from the formal meetin of DDC council and follows 30 years old existin ali nment which starts from East>.est Mahendra Hi hway (CanchhichowkA passes throu h densely populated five /DCs namelyD Pakali, Baklauri, Bharaul, Mahendrana ar and Barahachhetra and ends at Chatara /DC yard. The total len th of the proposed road is 26.860 km which reFuires total of (268600sFm G 26.86haA land where as existin land is (268061.01sFmG26.81haA now therefore, (134.44sFm G 0.01 haA of private land and the avera e available width of existin road is 6m to 8m.The subproject will be up raded into all weather ravelin (Premix Carpetin A road standards with 1m formation width. .hile selectin the subproject, the EA has defined the sub project as Class HBH standard. 3. Information on the socio-economic characteristic of the project affected people (APsA shows that 10 HH excludin 1 absentee HH and 63 peoples compromisin 29 male and 34 female will be affected by the project.
