John Allison Public Relations Allison Stringed Instruments [email protected] (512) 461-2109 Allison Guitars July 10, 2012 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ALLISON GUITARS FEATURED AT NAMM NASHVILLE, TN – Allison Guitars a/k/a Allison Stringed Instruments of Austin, Texas will showcase its hand-crafted, high-end acoustic guitars alongside its lines of solid body electrics and console steel guitars at Booth #1448 at this year’s Summer NAAM, July 12-14, 2012. After a decade of serving Texas’s guitar enthusiasts as well as a small network of select dealers, Allison Guitars is proud to present its work on a national stage. Allison Guitars produces instruments with some of the traditional styling of the great American classics, but with an eye toward subtle, elegant design enhancement and a level of craftsmanship and respect for the individual instrument that is increasingly rare in today’s world of assembly-line production. The expertly-selected tonewood and impeccable execution of an ALLISON Dreadnought (in the classic Martin style) or Jumbo (in the Gibson tradition) combine to produce power and clarity that will impress any expert bluegrass flat-picker or seasoned singer-songwriter. For lighter, more subtle styles, the smaller body Orchestra Model, Single 0, and Parlor Guitar deliver a full-bodied responsiveness. All acoustic models are offered with standard appointments in specific styles, but every Allison Guitar is a singular effort with ample opportunity for customization. Though acoustic steel string guitars are a primary focus, the line also features several styles of solid body electric guitars with unique, classic styling including bolt-neck retro beauties in the custom colors of the 50’s and 60’s as well as set-neck flat top and arch top models. Another unique offering is a limited line of 8-string console steel guitars designed to recall the look and sound of classic vintage instruments. With pricing comparable to other high-end manufacturers and industry-standard dealer discounting, Allison Guitars intends to expand its dealer network, increase distribution of its products and open new markets in order to offer a truly special playing experience to discriminating guitar buyers across the country and around the world. High-end players expect and deserve true excellence and real craftsmanship and Allison Guitars delivers just that. For more information, please visit www.allisonguitars.com.
