The Mendocino Book Company in Ukiah is pleased to announce a book signing and reading with local author Debbie Reardan, author of Country Cooking in Mendocino: Recipes from Mendocino County’s Renowned Caterer Jeanette Stroh on Saturday, November 4 from 1 to 3 P.M. Reardan, the daughter of Stroh, began working with her mother in her famed local catering business in 1998. Stroh catered hundreds if not thousands of Mendocino County weddings and events throughout the years. The two of them talked about publishing a cook book on the day Stroh retired. Sadly, Stroh died before seeing the project fulfilled. Reardan took on the paintaking task of gathering her mother’s recipes, testing and retooling them for smaller servings as way to share her mother’s culinary legacy. MENDOCINO BOOK COMPANY

Using each "Chaos Grid" number with its letter one time, arrange the numbers with their letters for the "Order Grid" so each vertical column, horizontal row, and two diagonals each ADD to numbers inside thick lined cells. B. Some correct numbers with their letters have been put into the "Order Grid" to get you started. Also, above the "Order Grid" is a "Decoded Message" clue. C. After you have solved the "Order Grid" doing as direction "A" says, put the let- ters from horizontal rows, from left to right, under "Decoded Message" and make words to form the answer.
