COMPLETE WEEKEND 2019-20 GUIDE

September 1, 2019

Dear Parents,

For over 25 years, St. Andrew’s College has offered an exciting array of weekend activities to our students through the Complete Weekend experience. From long weekends in Montréal to professional games, there is something for everyone.

These off-campus activities and events enrich the boys’ residential life. While many of these trips and events are selected with the boarding students in mind, many of whom come from outside of , day boys are encouraged to register as well.

Following is a comprehensive listing of our offerings for the 2019-20 school year. This year, we will be using Reach Boarding to register for events. An electronic guide of the events is available by visiting https://www.sac.on.ca/upper-school/boarding-life/complete-weekend. It is hoped that this will make it easier for students to recall which events they have signed up for, and allow the creation of waiting lists for events that are limited capacity. It is still important to secure a spot early, especially for long weekends. For events with a greater than expected demand, additional capacity may be added where possible. In mid-November, the Winter and Spring offerings will be updated.

Advanced reservations for many of the special events may have already been made. These activities are clearly marked in the event titles with an asterisk (*). If your son chooses to participate in one or more of these events, please be aware that the ticket prices are non-refundable. Cancellations for non-reserved Complete Weekend events are only permitted by contacting me directly at [email protected] no later than the Wednesday prior to the weekend activity. Any last-minute cancellations or no-shows for these events will be charged a $25 fee to cover the bus costs.

All trips are supervised by our wonderful SAC faculty and staff. I hope your son chooses to take advantage of this year’s Complete Weekend activities and explore a bit more of the greater area and Canada in the process!

Yours sincerely,

Mark Burton Complete Weekend Coordinator 2019-20 • Complete Weekend • Page 1 Information current as of: September 11, 2019; please check SAC Reach Events for latest version prior to registration Page 2 • Complete Weekend • 2019-20 COMPLETE WEEKEND AROUND THE TOWN
