• Students who successfully complete the Teacher Academy program have the potential to earn three college credits and be well prepared for a teacher preparation program. Statewide Articulation Agreements

In addition, local school systems have articulation agreements with their local community colleges for various numbers of credits into teacher education programs.

Scholarships Available

Towson University, Coppin State University, and St. Mary’s College of Maryland offer a $500 scholarship per semester for TAM students who are declared education majors and meet the requirements stated by the institution. Financial aid is available to those who qualify at Stevenson University and Salisbury University.
