DISTRICT ROTARACT CONFERENCE

Dear Rotarians

We are pleased to inform you that the 46th District ROTARACT Conference (DRC) will be held on the 12th - 14th December 2014 at Pasir Salak, Perak.

District Rotaract Conference (DRC) is an annual event organized to gather all Rotaractors in our District to learn and have fun at the same time over the 3 days.

Organized by the Rotaract Club of Subang, Rotaract Club of Bangsar and Rotaract Club of Methodist College of Kuala Lumpur, we will bring the participants to enjoy a Traditional Malay Heritage setting. Fellowship is promised to all participants through the fun games and activities planned. Knowledge and awareness would also be enhanced through plenary sessions by PP Shahema of RC Melawati and PDG Leslie of RC Gombak. All of this are aimed to not only promote better relationship between all participants through a framework of friendship and service but to also ENJOY the whole Rotaract Experience!

DRC can never be successful without the support and guidance of our respected Rotarians. For all Rotary Clubs with sponsoring Rotaract Clubs, we would like to humbly request that a form of sponsorship or subsidy is considered to be given in order to encourage their participation for this event. We are certain that this gesture will make a big difference to the Rotaractors!

For the other Rotary Clubs, any form of sponsorship towards DRA would be much appreciated too! This sponsorship would help us subsidize some of the cost that we will be incurring in the execution of our event. Some of these items include the rental of the bus which mounts up to RM1,400. If there are Rotarians who would like to provide any items that can be given as door gifts to our participants, it would be most appreciated too! If you have contacts for printing services of banners, landyards and certificates at a reasonable price, please do let us know! We are in search of anything that can help us reduce cost price and alleviate the quality of experience for our participants.

Attached is an official letter to all Rotarians on our humble request on any form of sponsorship/subsidy.

The registration fee for participants is inclusive of all conference activities, accommodation and food and beverage. Early Bird Price: RM 230 (15th September to 15th October 2014) Normal Price : RM 250 (16th October to 30th October 2014)

Please encourage your Rotaractors to register by the 15th October 2014 to enjoy the Early Bird Price.

We would also be providing a bus to charter the participants from KL Sentral to Pasir Salak and back for a price of RM35. This is not included in the registration fee. We have separated the bus fee from the total registration fee in view that there are Clubs from the Northern and East Coast Region as well participants from the Valley who would be be travelling on their own. Students who do not have their own transportation are highly encouraged to take the bus.

For more details, please check out our Facebook Page Event at the link: https://www.facebook.com/ events/730677377004630/

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further clarifications or would love to know more about our Rotaract Conference! We certainly hope to obtain the support of our Rotarians!

Thank you.
