"You get one chance to build these types of facilities … facilities that will change the landscape of a program for generations to come. It's exciting to think of the impact the new ballpark will have on future Gators players, coaches and fans." --Scott Stricklin, Athletics Director

On February 8, 2019, the University Athletic Association broke ground on Florida Ballpark. Construction on the (estimated) $65 million ballpark, located on the southwest part of the University of Florida campus adjacent to Dizney Stadium, was completed in June 2020.

Florida Ballpark features a 360-degree open concourse, shade structure for fans, multiple seating and game experience options, high-defi nition video and sound, enhanced concession space and food options, and multiple prominent entry gates.

All permanent seats feature chairbacks and there are multiple premium seating options, in addition to grass berms and non-traditional seating that will bring capacity to more than 7,000. There are over 4,000 chairback seats, and 700-plus fans are able to enjoy new club level seating.
