Since 1920, Piber stud farm in western Styria, – approx. 230 kilometres south of Vienna – has been home to the famous Lipizzan horses. The Piber stud farm is tasked with breeding these Lipizzan stallions, which will subse- quently be trained to show their skills at the world EXCITING OFFERS famous Spanish Riding School in Vienna. Experience these majestic white horses on one of our daily guided tours and get an insight into breeding, handling and history. Audio guides are avai- lable in English, Hungarian, Slovenian, French and Italian. Whether you are an individual tourist, tour group, nurs- ery or school excursion, our tours are adapted accor- dingly.
Not only horse lovers enjoy the close proximity to the horses – every trip to our stud farm is a unique and very special experience. During stud tours, carriage rides, competitions and whilst enjoying the clear summer air on the mountain pastures, the “imperial white horses” can be experienced in all their facets.
