ARREST OF INTER-STATE GANG OF AUTOMOBILE THEFTS AND HOUSE BURGLARIES – RECOVERY OF (23) BIKES, GOLD ORNAMENTS, SILVER WARE, CCTV DVR - ALL WORTH ABOUT Rs. 35 LAKHS

On 15-01-2021, the sleuths of Abid Road PS, Central Zone, City along with Commissioners’s Task Force, South Zone apprehended the 6 member gang of inter-state house burglars and Automobile theft offenders and detected (26) property offences which were committed in the limits of Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda Commissionarate’s and District and recovered 23 Bikes, 06 Grams Gold of Ornaments, 1 Kg. of Silver Ornaments, C.C.T.V D.V.R and 3 cell phones, all W/Rs. 35 Lakhs at the instance of accused.

Babu Rao @ Raju S/o Late Vishwanath, Age: 25 years, Occ: Toofan Driver, R/o Manekalli Village, Umnabad Taluq, Bidar District, Karnataka State 5. Md. ➢ Hyderabad – 4 ➢ Cyberabad – 15 ➢ Rachakonda – 1 ➢ Sangareddy – 6 BRIEF DETAILS/FACTS ABOUT THE GANG: The prime accused Wajeed is a 10th class drop out and native of Bidar, Karnataka State. In the year, 2019 he shifted to Hyderabad for Employment purpose. He joined a private company and worked for few months. Meantime he developed acquainted with other the accused Sonu, Shoeb, Shafath and others. As he was irregular to his duties, Wajeed was removed from his job. All the accused are addicted vices and became addicted to lead lavish and easy lifestyle and earnings were not sufficient to fulfill their desires. Hence they all hatched plan to commit property offences. As per their plan Wajid, Sonu, Shoeb, Shafath and others committed (26) offences in the limits of Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda commissionarates and Sangareddy District.

MODUS OPERANDI:-

The accused Wajeed along with his associates used to take shelter at low rented lodges. For committing offences they select locked houses in the remote localities with poor density of population on the outskirts of the City. During the day time they take rest and in nights they move out on the roads and commit theft of locked bikes like Royal Enfield, Bajaj Pulsar, Honda Activa and Yamaha R-15, and Ornaments from the locked houses. After committing theft, the stolen bikes and property was sent to Bidar, Karimnagar and Nizamabad for disposal. Some stolen bikes were also mortgaged to the needy people at low amounts from Rs. 15,000/- to 30,000/- with the help of other accused. All offences have been committed within a span of one year.

Basing on the credible information, the Abid Road Police, Central Zone, Hyderabad along with Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone team apprehended the above gang members and recovered the stolen property as stated above. The apprehended accused and seized property are being produced in the Court concerned.

*** Sri Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City issued preventive detention order under Act No.1 of 1986 against Mohd. Akbaruddin @ Bughdadi s/o Mohd. Shareefuddin, Arms Offender of Langer House Police Station on 30.12.2020. Mohd. Akbaruddin @ Bughdadi s/o Mohd. Shareefuddin, aged about 26 years, Occ: Business, r/o H.No.19-1-1097/1, Bandlaguda, Bahadurpura, Hyderabad has committed a heinous offence of double murder along with his associates by using lethal and prohibited arms in public place in an organised manner in the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate. He has earlier committed an offence under TS Gaming Act in the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate. His activities are creating large scale fear, terror and panic among the public thereby adversely affecting the public order. Langer House Police arrested the accused Mohd. Akbaruddin @ Bughdadi s/o Mohd. Shareefuddin on 8.6.2020 in Cr.No.102/2020 U/s 147, 148, 302 r/w 149 IPC and Section 25 (B) (1) of Indian Arms Act of Langer House PS. The Preventive Detention Order was executed on him on 3.1.2021 and he was lodged in Central Prison, , Hyderabad.

354th BIRTH DAY CELEBRATIONS OF GURU GOBIND SINGH (SIKH RELIGIOUS PROCESSION)

Sikh community people will takeout a religious procession on 18-01-2021 at 1500 hrs onwards on the occasion of 354th birthday celebrations of 10th Sikh Guru Shri Guru Gobind Singh. The procession will start from Central Gurudwara Saheb, Gowliguda and move via. Shanker Sher Hotel - left turn - Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Ashok Bazar - Afzalgunj Island - Afzalgunj ‘T’ Junction - Siddiamber Bazar - Mozamjahi Market - Jambagh - Puthlibowli - Ram Mandir and return to Central Guru Dwara Saheb, Gowliguda. In this regard traffic diversion is needed in the following routes in the limits of Tr.PS.Sultan bazaar, Tr.PS. and Tr.PS..

Bazar Mosque, all the vehicular traffic coming from Afzalgunj will be diverted towards State Central Library Afzalgunj – S.J. Bridge – CBS - Rangamahal till the procession move to M.J. Market. 3 Rangamahl Junction When the procession reach near MJ Market and turns towards Jambagh at that time the traffic coming from Charderghat will not to be allowed from Rangamahal Junction towards Jambagh and diverted towards CBS, SJ Bride. (if necessary) 4 Nayapool When the procession reach Central Library, Afzalgunj the traffic coming (Tr.PS. Charminar from Madina and City College will not to be allowed towards Afzalgunj Limits) and diverted towards Salarjung Museum – S.J.Rotary 5 Shanti Fireworks After the procession reach Shanthi Fireworks lane the traffic coming (Tr.PS. Goshamahal from Afzalgunj and intending to proceed towards MJ Market (or) so on Limits) will be diverted at Shanti Fireworks and they have to proceed taking left turn via Feel Khana – Right Turn – Thop Khana - Alaska – Malakunta – Left Turn – Midas High School U Turn – MJ Market.

In view of above religious procession, Traffic congestion is expected on 18-01-2021 from 1500 hrs to 2330 hrs on the above routes. Therefore the commuters are requested to take alternative routes to avoid inconvenience and co-operate with Hyderabad Traffic Police.
