Every year, BGC Partners and Cantor Fitzgerald, in conjunction with the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, commemorate our 658 friends and colleagues who perished on September 11, 2001 by distributing 100% of our global revenues on Charity Day to the Cantor Fitzgerald Shaun D. Lynn Relief Fund and over 100 charities around the world. The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, President BGC Partners, Inc. created to assist families of Cantor employees who were lost on 9/11, has broadened its mission to provide aid to victims of terrorism, natural disasters and emergencies, and has raised and distributed over $250 million. The mission of Youth Consultation Service (better known as YCS) is to partner with at-risk and special needs children, youth and young adults to build happier, healthier, more hopeful lives within their families and communities. The Wall Street Journal Since 2005, BGC Partners and Cantor Fitzgerald have hosted an annual Charity Day in their world-wide offices to recognize the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Celebrities from all walks of life come in to meet the traders and help them complete trades. One hundred percent of the revenues, which last year amounted to approximately $12 million, with the largest trade completed by Prince Harry in the company’s office, go to a large number of charities.

USA Today firm Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., with its affiliate BGC Partners, held its annual Charity Day. The global firm’s revenue from Tuesday, approximately $12 million, will be donated to more than 100 charities. Cantor Fitzgerald, which occupied offices in the north tower of the World Trade Center, had 658 employees perish on 9/11.
