Wollaton Hall [ built around 1580 ] is a spectacular Elizabethan mansion in the heart of Nottingham and is a prominent Grade One Listed building. It now houses the Nottingham Industrial Museum and Natural History Museum and Gallery’s. The surrounding park is also used for events and concerts and visitors are welcome to visit the Hall and park. The immaculately kept formal gardens provide the perfect spot to sit and relax. Here you can also visit The Camellia House, the oldest cast iron glasshouse in Europe.

 Café - Cafe in the Courtyard - A stylish addition to the Courtyard Stables, the cafe serves a range of refreshments including home made soups, sandwiches and a range of hot and cold seasonal specials. Vegetarian options are always available. The shop, which is also located in the Courtyard Stables, stocks an extensive range of crafts, souvenirs, gifts and books, and is open all year round.

 Toilets - Well equipped toilets at the Hall and Café.

 Path - The paths around the park are of a good surface for wheelchairs and made up of fine rolled-in crushed stone, there are some sloping area’s which will need assessing by manual wheelchairs / pushchairs users and there pushers,

The Wollaton Hall staff are always keen to help the public get the most out of their visit to the site. Please be aware that the external platform lift is currently out of order and an alternate entry point is in place. For further details please call 0115 9153900. Disabled visitors and those with limited mobility or visitors with different needs should be aware that there is lift access to gallery floors and toilets.

 Information – There is excellent Information on the website. Entry to Wollaton Hall is free but there is a charge for guided tours and Nottingham Industrial Museum. Throughout the year is a programme of events.
