SUMMER HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES 2021 Multi-Active – www.multi-active.co.uk Various activities including multi-sports, art & crafts, circus skills, team challenges, board games plus lots more. Dates: Monday 26th July – Friday 20th August 2021 Times: 9.00am – 4.00pm (extended hours 8.00am – 5.30pm) Costs: from £19.99 per day Venue: Kings Langley Secondary School, Love Lane, Kings Langley, Herts, WD4 9HN Camps open to children from all schools aged 5-13 years old. All programmes are Ofsted Registered and accept Child Care vouchers and Tax-Free Credits. Reduced capacity – places will be limited with children kept in small bubbles. Regular hand washing and hygiene routines will be in place. Staff working for Multi-Active – Staff will remain within bubbles with children and have appropriate PPE equipment. Staff will conduct increased cleaning routines to keep areas clean and safe. Parents – sign in and out will take place outside. Signing in will take place contactless with 2m distance. Activities – The programme is being re-designed to enable children to participate in fun activities that adheres to 2m social distancing and makes use of the outdoors more. For further information or to book please contact: 01462 351582 or email [email protected] Fit, Fed & Read - https://sportinherts.org.uk/sport-for-social-change/fitfedread/ Fit, Fed & Read activity camps run for four-hours a day which consists of two hours of physical activity, one hour of fun education provided by services including Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, Hertfordshire Libraries, Hertfordshire Constabulary and other local organisations. Children will also enjoy a two-course, nutritious cooked lunch. Please send your child to the camp with a water bottle, and wearing clothes that are suitable for running around and playing in. Children must be aged between 8 and 11 years old. Both playgrounds have had a makeover with new multi-play structures including climbing walls, a sand pit, water play and double tubular slides. There are also new floodlit 3G artificial turf pitches and a multi-play basketball area. Maximum numbers apply - 30 people can use the playgrounds at any one time, which is inclusive of adults, in order to comply with social-distancing laws (children aged under five years are exempt). Up to 16 children are permitted to use the cabins, however adults may only use the cabins for toilet use. COVID advisors are on site to help with safety measures and to answer any questions you may have. The areas they cover are sports and physical activity, wellbeing and arts and culture. They provide opportunities for residents through events, sessions, activities and much more! The Active Dacorum Hub - https://apex360.co.uk/hub/ The Active Dacorum Hub is a versatile, community-based venue in the Grovehill/ Woodhall Farm area of Hemel Hempstead. Situated next to the Adventure Playground it is ideally placed to serve Dacorum residents and provides sufficient parking for all of its users. It has newly resurfaced tennis/netball courts, football pitches and a brand new adventure playground and a 3G football facility. Please bring a packed lunch (NUT FREE), appropriate sportswear, sensible footwear and plenty of water. They are now accepting individual day bookings as well as week-long bookings (for a discounted price). Social distancing measures will be in place at all times as well as certain rules and regulations must be stuck to throughout these times. Ofsted registered and accept childcare vouchers. Our programme is a multi- activity offering a wide variety of choice for all ages and abilities – including fun games, team sports, arts and crafts, quizzes and outdoor pursuits in one fun-filled programme. Dates: Wednesday 28th July – Friday 27th August 2021 Times: 9.00am – 4.00pm Costs: £15.00 per day Venue: Galley Hill Primary School, Galley Hill, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 3JY What to bring and wear: comfortable clothing and footwear, suitable for the days weather conditions (a coat or waterproof jacket, sun cream and hat). Please bring non-fizzy drink. You can also bring a refillable drinks bottle. Our club maybe a little different during covid times and we aim to keep the majority of our activities outside weather permitting so layers are always a great option for clothing please ensure these are all named. Staffed by qualified teachers and experienced teaching assistants. Activities include life skills, creative play, playing outside, construction challenge, role play, plus much more.
