Day 1 — Biltmore Estate This morning we’ll travel to the Biltmore Estate where we have dinner, a candlelight tour and lodging for the night. Dinner will be at the Deer Park Inn, which will be decorated for Christmas. Our stay tonight is at the Inn at Biltmore. What a great way to begin thinking of the Christmas Season! D

Day 2 — Charleston For the next four nights we’ll stay in the historic area of Charleston. Our afternoon begins with a carriage tour of the area. After our tour we’re off to our hotel, and then to dinner at Sticky Fingers. B, D

Member FDIC www.wilsonbank.com Day 3 — Charleston This morning a tour of the city will include homes, churches and national landmarks dating back to pre-Revolutionary War days, with gardens tucked away in quiet surroundings of private homes and century-old plantations. This afternoon we will tour the Edmondston-Alston House, one of the first dwellings built on Charleston’s High Battery. We’ll enjoy views of Charleston Harbor from the same piazzas where General Beauregard watched the bombardment of Ft. Sumter. Family furniture, books, silver and paintings adorn the high-ceiling rooms. This evening we have tickets for the Charleston Stage, ’s largest professional theatre company. B Day 4 — /Middleton Place After breakfast we’ll travel to Drayton Hall, America’s oldest unrestored that’s open to the public. It’s surrounded by live oaks and bordered by the historic Ashley River. Next we’ll travel to Middleton Place, where we’ll also have lunch. Middleton Place is a National Historic Landmark, encompassing 65 acres of America’s oldest landscaped gardens. Tours of the House Museum highlight family collections and the role of the Middleton family in American history. This evening we have tickets for the Sound of Christmas, a series often enjoyed in historic churches or synagogues. B, L, D Day 5 — Tea Plantation This morning we’ll travel to the Charleston Tea Plantation, the only one in the United States, and we’ll learn all about tea. This afternoon you can enjoy some free time, and this evening we’ll have dinner included at Hyman’s Seafood before visiting James Island County Park to see the lights. What a way to end our last night in Charleston! B, D
