Each season of Serial investigates real stories taking place in America and is full of twists and turns. You’re sure to be captivated by the narrative and have a ton of questions about “who do it?” when it’s over. The newest season explores what happens with the right evidence points prosecutors towards the wrong person. It takes a look at what happens in the average American courthouse and the cases that come through their door. [Listen Now] Casefile Like Serial, Casefile takes a closer look at true crimes that have tak- en part in Australia analyzing where evidence and lawyers could’ve convicted the wrong person. The podcast is, and each episode completes one story, unlike Serial where they use the entire season to explore one theme. The makers behind the podcast use audio enhancements to achieve the suspenseful ambiance. Each episode can last from 20 minutes to an hour and a half and looks at the murder or abduction through the criminal’s trial and sometimes discussing potential theories if the perpetrator was never caught. If you want bite-sized information, Casefile is perfect for you. [Listen Now] BEST PODCASTS FOR TRUCK DRIVERS 4 SPORTS PODCASTS Sometimes tuning into the game isn’t enough. Golic and Wingo Formerly known and Mike and Mike this podcast is hosted by long- time friends Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic. They are ESPN Radio veterans dedicated to breaking down American sports for their listeners. Not just focused on football the guys also take a look at other sports like UFC, MMA, and MLB. Because of the hosts’ legacy, they often score interviews with key players, coaches, and analysts to give you predictions on playoffs and an update on what each team needs to do to win. The guys have at least four hours dedicat- ed to providing their listeners with sports information which means you’ll have plenty of content to keep you occupied. [Listen Now] Know Them from Adam If you’re a dedicated NFL fan, this podcast is for you. Hosted by Adam Schefter a prolific sports writer and television analyst, he graduated from the University of Michigan before starting his career at the NFL Network. Know Them from Adam is more of a round- up of information which means you get one episode a week rather than hours of comment. But, that’s ok because his podcast with ESPN has him talking to some of the biggest names in the NFL. Each week he takes a closer look at how the teams tick as well as make predictions about where some of the teams will go. If you want more interviews with start players and coaches, this is the perfect podcast. [Listen Now] BEST PODCASTS FOR TRUCK DRIVERS 5 COMEDY PODCASTS Driving for hours can become monotonous. Fan of The Office? Then you’ll be excited to know that head writer Lee Eisenberg is part of the Lovett or Leave It, team. The content is broken down in the form of quizzes, dramatic readings, discussions, bad impressions, rants, and games. Although episodes only come out once a week, there is more than enough to [Listen Now] keep you entertained. Comedy Bang Bang: The Podcast This podcast is an amalgamation of some of the best comedians on the circuit. Since new definitions of life-logging have excluded the latter approach and have been mainly focused on effortless life-logging technologies such as Google Glass and Quantified Self applications in general, the second part of this thesis theoretically frames life-stowing. Through extensive etymological research, I have defined life-stowing as a manual and effortful practice conducted by life-stowers, individuals who devote their life to sampling reality in predefined frameworks. As part of this book, an historical over- view introduces life-stowers and distinguishes between Apollonian and Dionysian varieties of these practitioners. Lastly, in order to understand the future reception of life-stowing, particularly in relation to digital media, I have disclosed my ongoing life- stowing project to a small audience.
