Part I 1. The Principal’s Report (2 pages)-Highlights the key activities, events, and successes of the past year and briefly describes major new initiatives to be undertaken over the next year.

 In the months of January and February, the college actively conducts College Chalo Abhiyaan in the schools of the area to aware the perspective students about the courses offered and facilities available in the college.  College conducted COVID -19 awareness activities to aware the villagers about the health, hygiene and sanitation.  Activities like voting rights, anti AIDS programs, mal-nutrition in children, plantation, crimes against children and women, gender discrimination are conducted by college.  To promote academic excellence, the college organizes carrier guidance programs for the students in various fields and also for the competitive exams.  Student participated at district and division level in various sports.

 The college conducted various events under Yuva-Utsava.  Students are benefited by various government schemes such as Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojna, Gaon ki Beti, Post Matric, Central Sector Scholarship and Awas Sahayata Yojna. The initiatives taken for the session 2020-21 are:

 The college plans to purchase classroom furniture, lab instruments and also renovation of building.  The library automation is to be done with the help of SOUL 2.0 software.  The college has also taken the initiative to start NCC unit.

Briefly describes student life in the college:

 Infrastructural facilities available to students - Classrooms, laboratories and equipment, Common Research Lab, & other facilities

 The college has developed infrastructure facilities for the students from the grants received from UGC, World Bank, State Government and fund available in the Jan Bhagidari Samiti.

 Well furnished 11 classrooms for effective teaching and learning process.

 Well equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry, botany, zoology and geography.

 The college has been participating it districts, university, state and national level tournaments.

 Library as a learning resource-advisory committee, its composition, facilities & services (e & print), annual improvement initiatives

 The college has a library with 20,000 books.  Library is equipped with all essentials facilities like computer, chairs, tables and other required software.  All faculty members regularly visit library for the research and preparation of lectures.  All required newspapers are subscribed by the college.  Every year new books, news papers, magazines are added as per the needs and recommendation of staff and students.  The library is open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on all working days for staff and students.  Faculty members can suggest book and articles to the students to supplement lectures.  Students are encouraged to consult library for research and dissertation.

 Sports activities are organized as per the sports calendar of the department and students have participated at division level.

 NSS camp in organized in the nearby village.

 Tree plantation drive is initiated by college.

 To increase awareness about social responsibility, the college celebrated special days like NSS Day, Republic Day, Independence Day, Sadbhavna Divas, Yoga Day and AIDS Day.

10. SWOC Analysis (strength, weaknesses, Opportunity and Challenges)

Strength  This college is situated in the biggest Tehsil of .

 This college fulfils the educational needs of surrounding area and the most of the students come from villages and belong to ST, SC, OBC and minority communities of the society.

 The college is the only institution in the Tehsil which offers UG in arts, science and commerce discipline and PG courses in arts and commerce discipline.

 The college has well-qualified and dedicated teaching faculties.

 The college participates in sports and games competitions at the university level and organizes almost half of them in every session.

 The Strength of the College Students is 1739 out of which UG -1532 (Girls: Boys – 767:765) while in PG -207 (Girls: Boys –102: 105). The data indicate the almost equal percentage is for girls and boys in college.

 We have enough space for future development like play ground, labs, faculty housing, gardens, smart class rooms.

Weaknesses  To develop awareness among students for higher education as most of the Student are from Tribal and Rural areas.

 Most students are weak in English and Computer Skill.

 Lack of well furnished and well equipped labs, library with various journals and e- journals, software.

Opportunity  The students can be benefitted under various Govt. Schemes.

 Various plans under Janbhagidari Samiti can be developed.

 College can develop green campus.

 Well equipped sport facilities can be provided by college.

Challenges  Most of the Students are from rural areas and in present scenario of COVID- 19 pandemic there is requirement of online classes which require android mobile, internet etc.

 Most students are weak in English and Computer Skill.
