Sub: Submission of Wildlife Clearance application for the mining permit of ‘Granite Building Stone Quarry of M/s. Pulpally Stone Crushers’ Respected Sir, We need to apply for Environmental Clearance (EC) for the mining permit of ‘Granite Building Stone Quarry of M/s. Pulpally Stone Crushers’ over an extent of 0.7905 Ha. at Re-Sy. Nos. 399/1, 399/15 & 399/18 in Village, Sulthan Bathery Taluk, Wayanad District, Kerala State. Before that we need to apply Wildlife Clearance, since within 10Km radius from the boundary of the proposed mining permit area, there are 4 wildlife sanctuaries / national parks situated and they are, 1. Bandipur National Park & Tiger reserve - 1.76 Kms. 2. Nagarahole National Park is & Tiger reserve - 3.12 Kms. 3. Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary (South Division) - 3.32 Kms. 4. Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary (North Division) - 8.79 Kms.

Our proposed mining permit area is situated 1.76 Kms from Bandipur Tiger reserve & National Park which is located in Karnataka State and our project area is situated in Kerala State. In PARIVESH website, while applying for wildlife clearance we are unable to select the Wildlife sanctuary/National park situated in neighboring state (Karnataka State), hence we selected the possible options as per default in the website under ‘Kerala state’ and applied clearance for ‘Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary – South Division’ which is the next nearest wildlife sanctuary (3.32 Kms) situated within Kerala State boundary from the proposed mining permit area. Regarding this issue we already informed MoEF Helpdesk & Concerned Department but the issue was not solved yet, this is for your kind information. Thanking you, Yours faithfully,

Shri. Binoj K Baby, Managing Partner, M/s. Pulpally Stone Crushers.
