Belmont Derby Launches Inaugural Turf Trinity SATURDAY, JULY 6, 2019 BELMONT DERBY THREE OF WINSTAR=S FIRST-YEARLING SIRES: OUTWORK, SPEIGHTSTER, & TOURIST LAUNCHES INAUGURAL WinStar Farm has been a major player in the stallion ranks for many years now. Included among the leading sires the Kentucky TURF TRINITY farm stands or has stood are Distorted Humor, More Than Ready, Pioneerof the Nile, and Tiznow. The WinStar stallion division has four first-season yearling sires currently in the barn, all graded stakes winners whose first weanlings were well- received in the commercial market in 2018. Three of the young sires stand for $15,000 or less: Outwork (Uncle Mo), Speightster (Speightstown), and Tourist (Tiznow). Outwork started making headlines early as Uncle Mo=s very first winner as a sire. Uncle Mo, of course, would go on to be the leading freshman sire in 2015 with Grade I-winning juveniles Nyquist and Gomo, as well as a plethora of other early successes. Outwork would become Uncle Mo=s third Grade I winner from that first crop when he took the Wood Memorial a few weeks before Nyquist added the GI Kentucky Derby. Katsumi Yoshizawa=s Master Fencer (Jpn) (Just a Way {Jpn}), who opened his career with a pair of turf outings in Japan last winter, returns to the grass after exceeding expectations with solid efforts in the May 4 GI Kentucky Derby (seventh) and June 8 GI Belmont S. Whether you walk your dog, head out with your family for a day hike, or have taken on the challenge to become a Thousand-Miler, the Ice Age National Scenic Trail provides a chance for quiet recreation while following the glacial history of Wisconsin. During the past year, a record number of people discovered the Ice Age Trail, and the Alliance membership has grown to over 4,500 strong. I’m excited to welcome all our new members. 2020 was an excellent year for land acquisition, thanks to the many who contributed to our land protection efforts. It was also the year where despite COVID-19 limitations, 1,499 volunteers donated 53,297 hours as dedicated caretakers of our wonderful Trail. While some of our efforts understandably shifted during the pandemic, we continued to maintain our high standards of providing a top-notch Trail experience for all. In 2021, I invite you to join one of the small-scale Trailbuilding and Stewardship Reconnect projects available through your chapter or one of the large-scale events scheduled later this summer.

PART III: FEASIBILITY STUDY C: NEW LANDFILL SITE SURVEY Supporting Report Chapter III-C PART III-C: NEW LANDFILL SITE SURVEY 1 Introduction Boracay Island is one of the popular tourist resorts in the Philippines and the number of visitors has increased year by year and the amount of solid waste generated has rapidly increased and become one of the most serious problems on the Island. Following RA9003, the MOM closed the dumping site on Boracay Island and they try to develop a new Sanitary Landfill (SLF) in Brangay Kabulihan. This part includes the results of series of surveys for the development of the Kabulihan SLF. 2 Objectives The site survey aimed to provide sufficient information and data necessary for the planning for the SLF. Specifically, the objectives of the survey on the new SLF are: - To generate topographic, cross-sections and longitudinal profiles of the site, - To establish the geological setting of the site including seismic condition, - To determine the nature and characteristics of the geological strata, - To obtain surface water quality upstream, downstream and within the site and groundwater quality at the site both during dry and wet seasons, - To obtain the presence of landfill gases and record odor at and adjacent to the site, - To document other relevant environmental conditions including ecological conditions, - To prepare conceptual design of the new SLF as desk study for the feasibility study, - To estimate the cost of the development of new SLF, - To complete an environmental assessment, including appropriate mitigation measures and a suitable management program, and - Drafting of the report amended from the existing IEE Report.
