Ned Stidolph: There will be a service of thanksgiving for the life of Ned on Wednesday 11th December at 12 noon in the Quire. All are welcome as we remember Ned and his contribution to the life of the Cathedral. Christmas Flowers: The volunteer flower arrangers would be most grateful for donations to help defray the costs of flowers for the Christmas decorations this year. Advent Lunches: The Christian Aid Committee provides soup lunches at Christ Church at the end of South Street on Wednesdays from 12.00 - 1.00 pm. There is no set cost but donations are welcomed so we can send a good amount of money to the areas of the world in great need. (Julie Schofield, Annabelle Hancock) Chichester Food Bank Christmas Update: Due to the roll out of Universal Credit in this area the number of people using our foodbank has risen by 30% since April. This means for the first time we have severe shortages of certain items. Most urgently needed are: tinned meat*, jam, tea bags, smash and tinned soup*. Please help! Toiletries, toilet rolls packed in twos and fours and tin openers are also really appreciated. (*Tins with ring pulls to open are best.) As always a huge thank you for your continued generosity as Christmas is looking bleak for many families we see.
