It is to bring to the notice of the trade that the Central Board of Excise & Customs vide Notification No. 2712014- Central Excise (N.T) dated 16.09.2014 has specified the jurisdiction of Central Excise Commissionerate, Ludhiana under the Zonal charge of Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Chandigarh Zone as under: District of Ludhiana. Moga, Faridkot, Ferozepur, Muktsar, Fazilka, Bamala and Tehsil Rampura Phul of District Bhatinda in the state of Punjab Headquarter of the Central Excise Commissionerate, Ludhiana will be located at F- Block, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana (Punjab). JURISDICTION OF THE DIVISIONS UNDER THE CENTRAL EXCISE COMMISSIONERATE, LUDHIANA WILL BE AS UNDER:- 1. Central Excise & Service Tax Division I, Ludhiana Office Address: Savitri Complex-II, Dada Motors, G.T. Road, Dholewal Chowk, Ludhiana. Jurisdiction : i) The area starting from outer limits of Khanna & Payal Tehsils towards Ludhiana left side of Ambala-Ludhiana G.T. Road upto Giaspura Chowk, then turning left on the road upto Lohara Bridge on Sidhwan Canal, then again turning left alongside Sidhwan Canal upto outer limits of Khanna & Payal Tehsils. ii) All the Service Tax assessees who are also registered as central Excise assessees and fall in the above jurisdiction. iii) All the service tax assessees with the name starting with alphabet A, 6, C, D & G of Distt. Ludhiana except Tehsil Khanna & Payal. iv) All the Service tax assessees of Teshil Khanna & Payal falling in jurisdiction of Range - IV & V. Ranges of Division I 0. Road, to Octroi Post of Village Kanganwal and from Octroi Post of Village Jaspal Bangar upto Sidhwan Canal.
