Community Engagement Projects

Tennessee River Project Director (2016-Present) A multi-year teaching, research and outreach initiative in partnership with the College of Architecture and Design’s Governor’s Chair for Energy and Urbanism. Launched in Fall 2016, the River Project’s mission is to gain an understanding of the Tennessee River system’s contemporary grand challenges and contemplate speculative, visionary, and collaborative planning and design proposals that promote economic prosperity, social health and environmental resiliency, maintaining Valley’s legacy of leadership and innovation into the next century.

UT Environmental Design Lab Project Manager (2014-Present) UTK’s Environmental Design Lab (EDL) builds on the interdisciplinary partnership at the core of the School of Landscape Architecture in order to extend the reach of the school beyond the classroom and into the community and region.
