MEDIA SERVICES

The staff of the Allegheny College Athletic Communications Office stands ready to assist in your coverage of all Gator athlet- ic teams for the 2010-11 season. For information regarding credentials, Allegheny teams and players, arranging interviews, broadcast coverage, obtaining statistics and photos, please call the Athletic Communication Office at (814) 332-5952. INTERVIEWS All interviews with Coach Matlak and Allegheny assistant coaches and players MUST be coordinated through the Office of Athletic Communications.

Players are available for interviews, either in person or on the phone, before or after practice depending on their class or meeting schedules. In order to have time to arrange for player interviews, please provide 24 hours notice to the Office of Athletic Communications.

For telephone interviews, the student-athlete and the media will be contacted by an athletics communications employee, and the interview will be conducted at a mutually agreed upon time.

Coaches and athletes will be available for post-game interviews following a 10-minute cooling-off period, although players and coaches are generally available on the field after a brief team meeting. Please coordinate all interviews with the direc- tor of athletic communications.

GAME DAY COVERAGE Allegheny’s press box, renovated in 1994, features a two-tier internal format, providing seating for 20 media as well as a film deck for TV.

There are telephone lines available for visiting radio stations. Visiting stations should contact the Office of Athletic Com- munications at least one week prior to the game. Station personnel who plan to make long-distance connections must be prepared to use a calling card, make a collect call, or have the station call into Allegheny’s press box.

All requests for media and radio credentials should be made by contacting the office of athletic communications. In gen- eral, individual game credentials will not be mailed but can be picked up at the stadium entrance.

A complete statistical summary, including team and individual statistics, defensive statistics, drive chart and complete play-by-play information will be provided approximately 15 minutes following the completion of the contest.

PHOTOGRAPHY Photographers are restricted to areas outside broken white lines in accordance with NCAA rules. Game day personnel will be on hand to assist you.
