In these pages you will find a range of courses professionals and peer trainers – people with that focus on mental health education, wellbeing lived experience of the subject and recovery. Open Days Our Open Days give you the opportunity to find out about us, speak to our trainers and consider our courses. You can then book onto a course (see page 2). Open Days are held in September for the Autumn term 2021. More Open Days are planned for the Winter, Spring and Summer terms. There are also virtual open days. Please check our website for updates. If you are unable to attend an Open Day, please just contact us or register your details/apply for a course following instructions on page 2 of this prospectus. All courses are free for adults with mental health-related challenges, their supporters (relatives and carers) and staff of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and our partner organisations. Graduation Days To celebrate the achievements of our students and the success of Sussex Recovery College we hold annual Graduation events. Students from across Sussex come along and receive a certificate to acknowledge all the work they have put into attending and completing their courses. As well as listening to key speakers, the event provides an opportunity for students to meet each other and share their experience.
